Someone tell Rockstar Games that it isn't Christmas yet because they've been more than happy to give away free stuff in Grand Theft Auto Online lately. Wait, no, actually don't tell them!

The free Grand Theft Auto V upgrade, Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, came to PCs on March 4, and with it came a bunch of added content to the game, including the latest content update and more PC-exclusive freebies. One of the free items that players can and have been getting lately is a Karin S95, first introduced to GTA Online as part of the Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded and Enhanced update.

Getting your gratis Karin S95 is simple. You just have to log on to GTA Online after upgrading to GTA Enhanced and complete the initial race for Hao's Special Works. Afterwards, Hao will text you to claim the Karin S95 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It will list the vehicle, which typically costs nearly GTA$2,000,000, for $0. However, there seems to be a still-ongoing issue with redeeming what should be a free vehicle. Many are reporting getting charged the full price - this seems to be a trend with the upgrade, doesn't it?

If you head on over to Reddit, X, and other social media platforms, you'll find that many are complaining about Rockstar charging them for the free Karin S95, which isn't unlike what happened with the free upgrade to GTA Enhanced on the Epic Games Store. The good news is that the resolution is simple: you just have to let Rockstar know.

According to u/No-Public-8785 on Reddit, you just have to get in touch with Rockstar Games Customer Support and let them know what happened and you should get refunded the full amount. GTA$2,000,000 is a lot of money, even if you follow our guide to how the stock market works in GTA Online and our tips on how to make money in the game.

It's safe to say that Rockstar is currently ironing the kinks that came with the release of GTA Enhanced, with issues such as the one with the Karin S95 and the inability to migrate save files among the biggest problems faced by Grand Theft Auto fans at the moment.

There's also the ongoing issue with the BattlEye anti-cheat program blocking access to GTA Online if you're playing on a Steam Deck or any other set-up that uses Linux as its operating system. The issue with BattlEye has escalated to the point that questions on how to disable it has become one of the most searched terms on Google over the weekend.

While Rockstar is busy putting out the fires it created in GTA Online, it also has its hands full preparing for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 later this year. Rumor has it that the next trailer is scheduled for April, specifically, on April 1. The timeline also coincides with Rockstar India hiring game testers and the increased marketing spend by Take-Two Interactive.
