The Kortz Center Heist is a multi-stage art robbery releasing for Grand Theft Auto Online on July 14, 2026. Based out of a player-owned Mansion and its new Art Studio, the heist sends players to scope out the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs, identify valuable paintings, plan entry and escape routes, and steal artwork that can either be sold or displayed.
The heist can be played solo or with up to four players. Rockstar has announced the overall structure and several major mechanics, but exact payouts, cooldowns, setup missions, and finale routes will not be confirmed until the update is live.
Overview
The Kortz Center is one of Los Santos' leading art institutions. The heist revolves around stealing real paintings and replacing them with replicas produced inside the player's Art Studio.
Based on Rockstar's pre-launch information, the job includes:
- Scoping out the Kortz Center without drawing attention.
- Photographing paintings and identifying Primary and Secondary Targets.
- Mapping possible entry and exit points.
- Preparing equipment and technology inside the Mansion's Art Studio.
- Completing the robbery solo or with a crew of up to four players.
- Limiting witnesses and removing security footage to protect the stolen artwork's value.
- Selling a Primary Target or keeping it on display in the Art Studio.
Three paintings are expected to rotate into the heist each week, giving repeat runs different targets and potential routes.
Access Requirements and Property Costs
The Kortz Center Heist can be hosted from any player-owned Mansion once its Art Studio expansion has been installed. Mansion and Art Studio ownership is only required for the host; other players can join without owning either.

Rockstar has not confirmed the Art Studio's standard purchase price. Our Kortz Center Heist preparation guide explains the current GTA$2 million to GTA$3 million estimate and provides complete budgets for players who already own a Mansion and those buying one from scratch.
The Art Studio
The Art Studio is the heist's planning base inside the Mansion. It brings in a forger who creates replica paintings to replace the real artwork taken from the Kortz Center.
The Studio also stores equipment and technology used to prepare the player's finale loadout. Primary Target paintings can later be displayed there instead of being sold, making the property part planning room and part trophy space.
Scope-Out and Preparation
Before the robbery, players scope out the gallery floor in Pacific Bluffs. The announced objectives include photographing paintings without alerting security, finding Secondary Targets, and identifying more than one way into and out of the building.
Raf De Angelis provides intelligence during the operation, while the Mansion's AI Assistant also supports the crew. Rockstar has not yet published the complete preparation list or confirmed whether approaches are selected through a planning board in the same way as the Diamond Casino Heist.
Artwork, Security, and Selling
Artwork known to be stolen is worth less on the black market. Avoiding witnesses and removing security footage should therefore affect more than the immediate difficulty of the escape: it can also help protect the final sale value.
Primary Target paintings can be sold to Mr. Faber, with the best price expected during the same week the painting is stolen, or kept and displayed in the Mansion's Art Studio. Secondary Targets provide additional loot during the robbery.
Exact artwork values, player cuts, fencing costs, and difficulty bonuses have not yet been confirmed.
Fine Art Collector Rewards
The pre-launch Fine Art Collector program runs through July 13, 2026. Its rewards include GTA$, vehicles, a NOOSE Outfit, decorative artwork, and a GTA$1,000,000 Art Studio discount for eligible Mansion owners.
Because these rewards are time-limited, the linked event article should be used for the current requirements and delivery dates.
