GTA Online Heist: The Pacific Standard Job

The Pacific Standard Job is the fifth and final Original Heist in GTA Online. Four players complete five setup missions before robbing the Pacific Standard Bank's flagship branch and escaping with the take. ¹

Mission #1: Vans

For the first setup mission, "Vans," the crew will operate in two teams, each comprising a Driver and a Navigator in separate cars. The Navigators use the Trackify app on their phones to locate several Post OP vans, then photograph each license plate. Lester identifies the van carrying the transponder, which the crew steals and delivers to the garment factory.

Mission #2: Signal

In "Signal," the second setup mission, the crew must first take the transponder from the stolen van to an island off the east coast, where Avi Schwartzman is hiding.

Upon arrival, take out the police helicopter, then fight the police on the island to reach Avi. Once Avi is secured, take Avi to the indicated boat. The subsequent boat journey is a timed mission, requiring careful navigation. Follow the water through Lago Zancudo to lose the police, then drive Avi to the marked destination to complete the mission.

Mission #3: Hack

The third setup mission, "Hack," splits the crew into one Transporter and three Decoys. Collect the white Gang Burrito from the garment factory, drive it to the rival crew in Vinewood and clear the area around their black van.

Parking the white van beside the black one triggers the equipment transfer. The Transporter then delivers the white van and hacking equipment to Lester's garment factory, while the Decoys use the black van to draw the rival crew away before destroying it.

Mission #4: Convoy

For the fourth setup mission, "Convoy," the crew must first ambush a Merryweather convoy to steal a military truck. To achieve this, block the road with as many vehicles as you can. A Merryweather helicopter will come first, followed by the convoy. Make sure you don't destroy the target truck in the fighting.

Once the area is secured, two players should take the military truck, and the other two should take an Insurgent (provided at the ambush site). Head toward the drop-off point, defeat any enemies that remain, and take the truck to the goal.

Mission #5: Bikes

In the fifth setup mission, "Bikes," the crew must head to the Lost MC's clubhouse to steal four Lectro sports bikes. Engage and fight the Lost members at the clubhouse, but make sure you don't destroy the bikes in the process. After securing the bikes, ride them to the drop-off point while avoiding the Lost's roadblocks and attackers.

Heist Finale: The Pacific Standard Job

For "The Pacific Standard Job" finale, the crew will split into three teams: one Hacker, one for Demolition, and two for Crowd Control. All players head to the bank and go inside. The Crowd Control players should kill the guards and keep everyone else intimidated by shooting nearby (without hitting hostages).

The Demolition player should use thermite charges on the door at the back of the lobby and the next one at the top of the stairs. When that second door opens, one of the Crowd Control players needs to head to the back room to intimidate the tellers and kill any security that arrives.

Meanwhile, the Hacker opens the next door, and Demolition burns through the final gate with another thermite charge. Collect the money, then regroup with Crowd Control at the exit.

Only one player should take all the money. Any players with the stolen money will lose some when hit, and it is easier to defend one player than two. The player with the money should try to avoid combat.

A heavy police response awaits outside, and remaining in the bank for too long will fail the finale. Clear a path to the bikes. If the alarm brought in suitable vehicles, a police car or NOOSE van can provide more protection during the escape.

Players might also want to drive the bikes or a car to the Vinewood Police Department to grab the helicopter on the roof. Once you have your vehicle of choice, do not follow the waypoints.

Instead, follow the left highway until you reach the cliff near the Cassidy Creek bridge, and then parachute (or drive, if the path is understood well enough) to the boat down below. Drive the boat to the goal to complete the final Heist. The player with the money should duck while in the boat to avoid losing any more cash.

Payout Distribution: The Pacific Standard Job

The stolen cash leaves the bank in duffle bags, and damage to a player carrying a bag reduces the take.

Getting the full payout is difficult because the carrier remains exposed during the escape. Older versions of this guide recommended entering a nearby apartment to collect an Armored Kuruma, but that method was patched. A good tactic here is to have one player carry the whole take, lowering the chances of taking damage. Of course, the other members have to protect the carrier with everything they have.

Damage taken while carrying the money can reduce the final take. Title Update 1.73 added a weekly completion bonus to The Pacific Standard Job and increased Original Heist setup payouts. ⁴
