The best GTA Online heist for making money depends on how you play. Cayo Perico is the safest repeatable solo choice. The Doomsday Scenario has the largest fixed repeat Hard finale payout in this comparison, while a Diamond Casino vault containing diamonds offers the biggest event-only total. None of those headline figures tells you how much each player actually keeps.
Our complete GTA Online heist payout list contains the full payout tables. Here, the important differences are crew size, planning fees, finale time, target randomness and how the final take is divided.
Compare the same kind of payout
Weekly bonuses, event-only targets and crew cuts can change the result. Check whether each figure is for the first completion after Thursday's reset or a later run, then subtract planning fees and divide any shared take before deciding which heist pays you the most.
Best GTA Online Heists by Player Goal
Player goal | Best current choice | Why it stands out | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
Repeatable solo money | Solo-capable with a typical 10-15 minute finale once the route is learned | Rotating Primary Targets, setup work and a 144-minute solo replay wait | |
Largest fixed repeat finale total | GTA$2,025,000 on Hard before player splits | Two-player minimum, long setup chain and a demanding 45-60 minute finale | |
Largest event-only vault total | GTA$2,533,300 repeat Hard vault value | Diamonds are event-limited; crew and support cuts reduce the final take | |
Classic four-player heist | GTA$1,875,000 repeat Hard finale with familiar roles | Requires four players and the take can fall when the crew takes damage | |
New solo alternative | Our Hard solo run showed a GTA$1,809,000 result-screen take in 16:14 | The GTA$100,000 setup fee left GTA$1,709,000 profit before property costs; not every painting value is confirmed |
The best choice changes with crew size, replay time and whether the displayed figure is a gross payout or the amount one player keeps.
What makes a heist profitable?
Start with the amount you and your crew actually keep, not just the largest number in a payout table. Check:
- Gross payout: the total available before player and support-crew cuts.
- Player take: the amount left after the split and any relevant deductions.
- Crew size: whether the heist can be completed solo or needs two to four players.
- Planning cost and requirements: the fee, required property and preparation work.
- Time: the finale time and, where dependable figures are available, the preparation time.
- Repeatability: replay waits, target rotations, event-only loot and first-completion bonuses.
- Difficulty: the coordination and execution needed to finish the run consistently.
There is no single score that combines all of these fairly. A fast solo route and a larger four-player finale solve different problems.
Best repeatable solo heist: Cayo Perico
The Cayo Perico Heist payout guide explains why it remains the safest general recommendation for solo players. The finale can be completed alone, a practiced route usually takes around 10-15 minutes, and there is no crew split when you run it solo.
The result still varies. Primary Targets rotate, the most valuable Panther Statue appears only during selected events, and gold normally requires a second player to access. The GTA$100,000 setup fee, preparation work and 144-minute solo replay wait also reduce its hourly earnings. Cayo Perico is the most flexible solo choice, not a guarantee of the largest payout on every run.

Largest fixed repeat finale payout: The Doomsday Scenario
Act III of The Doomsday Heist pays GTA$2,025,000 on Hard for an additional completion during the same event week, before the player split. The first Doomsday finale completed after the Thursday reset pays GTA$2,474,550 on Hard. Among the fixed, non-event repeat finales compared here, The Doomsday Scenario has the largest gross payout.
The tradeoff is time and difficulty. The finale typically takes 45-60 minutes, requires at least two players and follows an extensive preparation chain. It suits a capable pair that enjoys a demanding combat-heavy finale, but its gross total does not automatically make it the best hourly earner.
Largest event-only vault total: Diamond Casino Heist
When diamonds are available, the Diamond Casino Heist vault is worth GTA$2,533,300 on an additional Hard completion during the same event week. If that diamond run is your first Casino finale after the Thursday reset, the gross vault value rises to GTA$4,711,938. Regular repeat Hard vault values are lower: GTA$1,628,550 for cash, GTA$1,809,500 for artwork and GTA$1,990,450 for gold.
Those figures are gross vault values. The host pays a GTA$25,000 setup fee, the finale needs at least two players, and gunman, driver, hacker and player cuts reduce the amount each participant receives. Diamonds appear only during selected events, so Casino is a high-upside crew heist rather than a permanent GTA$4.71 million option.
Best classic four-player heist: Pacific Standard
The Pacific Standard Job pays up to GTA$1,875,000 on Hard for an additional completion during the same event week. The first completion after Thursday's reset pays up to GTA$2,812,500 on Hard. Both figures are divided between four players.
It is less efficient for anyone who first needs to assemble a reliable group. The take can also fall when a player carrying the cash takes damage. Choose Pacific Standard for the classic team-heist format and familiar roles, not because it beats newer heists on solo access or consistency.
Where the Kortz Center Heist currently fits
The Kortz Center payout guide confirms that the heist supports solo play and uses rotating Primary Targets. GTA Online normally begins a new event week on Thursday. The first Kortz painting sold after that weekly reset receives the higher weekly value; any later painting sold before the next reset uses its lower payout.
Our Hard solo run with The Downfall of Rome showed a GTA$1,809,000 result-screen take and finished in 16:14. That total included GTA$267,000 in Secondary Targets and GTA$100,000 each for the Buyer’s Request and Elite Challenge. The setup was started before Thursday and its GTA$100,000 fee remained spent, leaving GTA$1,709,000 in profit before property costs. A separate Normal Consumato run showed a GTA$651,000 result-screen take in 16:18.
Those are results from two specific runs, not guaranteed payouts. Several Kortz paintings still lack confirmed Normal or Hard values, so Kortz cannot yet be placed above every other heist across all possible runs.
GTA Online Heist Payout and Time Comparison
Heist | Players | Confirmed comparison figure | Planning cost | Finale time evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Cayo Perico | 1-4 | GTA$1,001,000 Pink Diamond on Hard; secondary loot is additional | GTA$100,000 | Typically 10-15 minutes |
Doomsday Act III | 2-4 | GTA$2,025,000 repeat Hard; GTA$2,474,550 for the first Hard finale after Thursday's reset | GTA$120,000 | Typically 45-60 minutes |
Diamond Casino with diamonds | 2-4 | GTA$2,533,300 repeat Hard; GTA$4,711,938 for the first Hard finale after Thursday's reset | GTA$25,000 | Typically 20-25 minutes |
Pacific Standard | 4 | Up to GTA$1,875,000 repeat Hard; up to GTA$2,812,500 for the first Hard finale after Thursday's reset | GTA$25,000 | Typically 20 minutes |
Kortz Center, Hard Downfall test | 1 | GTA$1,809,000 result-screen take; GTA$1,709,000 after the paid setup fee | Free when the first setup begins after reset; otherwise GTA$100,000 | 16:14 tested run |
Doomsday, Casino and Pacific Standard figures are gross totals before player or support cuts. The Kortz figure comes from the specified solo run.
Gross payout is not the same as your take
A GTA$2 million finale does not pay every participant GTA$2 million. Original, Doomsday and Casino totals are divided between players, while Casino also deducts support-crew cuts. Cayo Perico and Kortz Center can be completed solo, but their Primary Target, Secondary Targets, replay rules and planning fees still change the result.

Which GTA Online heist should you choose?
- Playing solo: choose Cayo Perico for dependable repeat runs. Kortz Center is especially attractive for the first painting sold after Thursday's reset, but several painting values are still unknown.
- Playing with one capable partner: compare The Doomsday Scenario with a two-player Casino run.
- Chasing the largest event payout: run Casino when diamonds are available, ideally as your first Casino finale of the event week.
- Playing with a regular four-person crew: Pacific Standard remains the strongest original heist, while Casino offers more approach variety.
- Still learning heists: choose the activity your team can finish reliably. A smaller payout completed cleanly is worth more than a larger finale that repeatedly fails.
