Everything you need to know about the Diamond Caisno Heist in GTA Online.

The Diamond Casino Heist is a high-stakes, multi-faceted heist introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Diamond Casino and Resort update. It allows players to plan and execute a robbery of the Diamond's vault, offering multiple approaches to achieve their goal.

Unlike previous heists, the Diamond Casino Heist is initiated from a player-owned Arcade property and offers significant replayability through its distinct approaches and Contents and Payouts|variable vault contents].

Overview

The Diamond Casino Heist allows players to choose one of three main approaches to infiltrate the casino and secure the vault contents. Each approach has its own unique set of mandatory and optional Prep Missions, and a finale.

  • Prep Missions: These are generally completed in Freemode and involve sourcing equipment, vehicles, intel, or disrupting casino security. They can often be done solo, though playing with friends can speed up the process.
  • Finale Mission: The culmination of your chosen approach, this is a complex, multi-stage mission requiring a team of 2-4 players to execute the plan and escape with the loot.

After completing any approach for the first time, players can replay it or choose a different one. However, an approach cannot be repeated immediately; an alternative approach must be completed in between.

Repeating an approach will often trigger "Hard Mode," offering increased difficulty and a bonus to the payout.

Starting The Diamond Casino Heist

To begin The Diamond Casino Heist, players must first purchase an Arcade property from Maze Bank Foreclosures. There are six Arcades available at various locations and price points.

Once an Arcade is purchased and the initial setup missions with Lester Crest are completed, players can access the heist planning room in the basement of their Arcade to start planning their chosen approach.

Approaches

The Diamond Casino Heist offers three distinct approaches, each with its own strategic considerations and gameplay style:

The Silent & Sneaky Approach

This approach focuses on stealth and misdirection. The goal is to infiltrate the casino undetected, bypass security systems, and escape without raising an alarm. It requires careful planning, coordination, and precise execution.

The Aggressive Approach

This approach is a full-frontal assault. Players will use heavy firepower and explosives to breach the casino's defenses, fight their way to the vault, and secure the loot through direct confrontation.

The Big Con Approach

The Big Con approach relies on deception and disguise. Players will use elaborate schemes and outfits to infiltrate the casino, often blending in with staff or guests, to reach the vault with minimal direct conflict until the escape.

Vault Contents and Payouts

The potential payout from the Diamond Casino Heist varies significantly based on the contents of the vault, which can be Cash, Artwork, Gold, or (on special occasions) Diamonds. Hard Mode also offers a 10% bonus on the take.

There's also a daily award (and a little extra cash) you can grab while looting the vault, called the Daily Cash Grab Secret Vault.
