GTA 5 cheat codes unlock all weapons, let you change your wanted level up or down, and give you all kinds of other power-ups in the game like invincibility, flaming ammo, and super jump.

To use GTA 5 cheats on PS4, PS3 or PS5 (which are all the PlayStation consoles that the game is available on) enter them using your controller. Just make sure you press the button combo relatively quickly, so that it registers and the game recognizes your inputs as a cheat code. You must use the digital pad (d-pad) for any directions as opposed to the analog sticks on your controller.

Using any cheats in GTA 5 will disable Trophies for the rest of your session, so always save your game first.

If you're wondering why there's no money cheat, the reason is that it would ruin the game's stock market feature. The cheats also only work in GTA 5's story mode and they will not get you banned.

How to Enter Cheats

There are two ways to enter cheats in GTA 5 on PlayStation:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do these cheats work in GTA Online?: No. Cheat codes are completely disabled in GTA Online to ensure fair play for all players. They only work in single-player Story Mode.
Can I get banned for using cheats?: No, you cannot be banned for using cheats in the single-player Story Mode of GTA 5.
How do I turn a cheat off?: For most toggleable cheats (like Invincibility or Slow Motion), simply re-entering the same cheat code will turn it off. Vehicle spawn cheats cannot be "turned off".
Do cheats disable Trophies/Achievements?: Yes. Activating any cheat will temporarily disable Trophies (on PlayStation) and Achievements (on other platforms) for your current gaming session only.
