How to Prepare for the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist on July 14

Rockstar Games confirmed the Kortz Center Heist releases on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 as Title Update 1.73. This is the first proper new heist added to GTA Online since Cayo Perico in December 2020, and it will drop on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

The guide covers everything you need to have ready before launch day.

Heist Requirement

The Kortz Center Heist is a multi-stage art robbery targeting the gallery in Pacific Bluffs. It can be played solo or with up to four players.

To host the heist, you need two things:

• A Mansion property
• The new Art Studio upgrade added to your Mansion

You can still join heists led by other players without owning either, but you cannot host or lead one yourself.

Mansion Costs

The three Mansions currently available through Prix Luxury Real Estate are:

• Tongva Estate: $11,500,000 base ($17.4M fully upgraded)
• Vinewood Residence: $12,200,000 base ($18.1M fully upgraded)
• Richman Villa: $12,800,000 base ($18.7M fully upgraded)

GTA+ members get a $2,000,000 discount on any Mansion purchase, active at the time of writing this guide.

Art Studio Expansion Cost

Rockstar has not confirmed the Art Studio price yet. But based on how heist bases have been priced historically (Kosatka was $2.2M, Arcade was $2.5M, Facility was $1.25M, Auto Shop was $1.7M), you can expect the base price to fall between $2M and $3M. Anyone predicting $4M or higher is likely overshooting since the Fine Art Collector Program's $1M discount would then only be a 25% cut, which is smaller than Rockstar usually offers.

How Much Cash You Need

If you already own a Mansion, you'll need to have around $2M to $3M for the Art Studio, plus around $10M for the new vehicles and weapons expected to arrive with the update. In total about $12M to $15M.

If you do not own a Mansion, you are looking at around $11.5M for the cheapest Mansion, $2M to $3M for the Art Studio, and around $10M for vehicles and gear. In total about $25M to $28M.

Fine Art Collector Program

If you are still low on funds for the Art Studio, this is the free prep event running from June 18 to July 13. It has three reward tiers:

• Enthusiast: Logging into GTA Online once during the event rewards players with $500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo.
• Patron: Completing any GTA Online heist during the event rewards players with $1,000,000 and the NOOSE Outfit.
• Elitist: Owning a Mansion and logging in during the event rewards players with a $1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a Sculpture, and a Painting for their Mansion.

Enthusiast and Patron rewards arrive within 72 hours of completion. Elitist rewards are delivered when the heist launches on July 14.

You can also earn a lot more money this week. Rockstar is running double GTA$ on bunker sales through July 13. A full bunker sale in a populated public lobby pays out over $2M. If you own a Mansion, use the Mansion production speed boost on your bunker to speed things up, and alternate between the bunker and acid lab on days the boost cannot stack.

If you would rather skip the grind, there is a 40% GTA$ bonus on Great White, Whale, and Megalodon Shark Card purchases through August 5. You need to claim the offer through the Rockstar Games website by July 22.

Kortz Center Heist Release Time

Rockstar has not officially confirmed the exact release time. GTA Online title updates commonly arrive around 2:00 AM PDT / 10:00 AM BST, which would be 09:00 UTC on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
