How to Start the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist

What you need to host the heist

The Kortz Center Heist is a multi-stage art robbery that can be played solo or with up to four players. To host it, you need a Mansion and its GTA$4,700,000 Art Studio. You can join a heist led by another player without owning either property.

Mansion prices

• Tongva Estate: GTA$11,500,000 base (GTA$17.4M fully upgraded)

• Vinewood Residence: GTA$12,200,000 base (GTA$18.1M fully upgraded)

• Richman Villa: GTA$12,800,000 base (GTA$18.7M fully upgraded)

The Art Studio is the only Mansion upgrade required for hosting. Optional upgrades and businesses can make the finale easier, but they are not part of the entry cost. For example, the Mansion Armory improves weapon loadouts, the Vehicle Workshop helps certain getaway vehicles, and an Agency, Darnell Bros Garment Factory or Terrorbyte gives you more time inside the vault.

How much cash you need

If you already own a Mansion, budget GTA$4,700,000 for the Art Studio. That falls to GTA$3,700,000 with either the current GTA+ discount or the Fine Art Collector discount, or GTA$2,700,000 if you have both.

If you do not own a Mansion, the cheapest permanent entry cost is GTA$16,200,000: GTA$11,500,000 for Tongva Estate plus GTA$4,700,000 for the Art Studio. During the overlapping GTA+ offer, the same base combination costs GTA$13,200,000. Optional vehicles, weapons, and Mansion upgrades are not required to host the heist and are not included.

Your first setup started after the weekly reset has no planning fee. Each additional setup costs GTA$100,000. If you start a paid setup before Thursday and finish it after the reset, the fee remains spent, but the Primary Target receives the new week’s first-sale payout.

How to unlock Hard Mode

Complete the heist on Normal first. In our testing, Raf contacted us about ten minutes after the finale and invited us to set up another run. You then have a 48-minute window, equivalent to one GTA Online day, to begin the next setup on Hard Mode.

If the window expires, complete another Normal run and wait for Raf to contact you again. Begin the setup promptly rather than waiting until the last minute.

Fine Art Collector Program

The Fine Art Collector Program ran from June 18 through July 13 before the heist launched. Players who qualified for its Elitist tier earned a GTA$1,000,000 Art Studio discount plus the announced cosmetic and vehicle rewards.

The discount remains available to players who earned it, but it cannot be unlocked now. Owning a Mansion by itself does not qualify an account for the discount.

Current purchase discounts

Two GTA+ purchase offers launched with the heist:

• GTA$2,000,000 off a Mansion: July 14 at 09:00 UTC through August 6 at 09:00 UTC

• GTA$1,000,000 off the Art Studio: July 14 at 09:00 UTC through August 13 at 09:00 UTC

These discounts reduce the purchase price; they do not increase heist earnings. The Heist Earnings Calculator applies each GTA+ offer only during the dates above and keeps the Fine Art Collector reward separate.
