Mr. Faber

Mr. Faber is a financier and criminal contact in GTA Online. Rockstar introduced him in the Money Fronts update, released on June 17, 2025, as the elusive head of San Andreas's largest money-laundering network.¹ Rockstar's public material identifies him only as Mr. Faber and does not provide a first name.

Faber operates behind the scenes rather than managing the player directly. His chief fixer handles contact and mission instructions, while Faber supplies the client network, financial connections and high-value problems that drive Money Fronts and the later Kortz Center Heist.

The player is introduced to Faber at Los Santos International Airport after Martin Madrazo arranges a meeting. Faber offers the player access to a laundering network built around legitimate businesses, beginning with the Hands On Car Wash.

Buying the car wash opens the Money Fronts business system. The player can then route criminal income through the property, acquire Smoke on the Water and Higgins Helitours as additional fronts, and take on jobs for Faber's clients. Rockstar presents Faber as the person overseeing this wider network, while his fixer serves as the player's day-to-day contact.¹

Mr. Faber Work is a six-mission series built around problems affecting Faber's clients. The jobs can be started from the laptop inside any Money Fronts business, with the player's contact relaying instructions throughout the work.¹

1. Liquid Market: recover whiskey stolen from one of Faber's clients.
2. ROI: recover a stolen car from The Diamond Casino & Resort.
3. Compound Interest: track down stolen diamonds.
4. Mutual Funds: escort valuable cargo through an attack by a rival group.
5. Current Liabilities: rescue GJ and recover stolen money.
6. The Monopoly: dismantle rival operations threatening Faber's business.

The linked walkthroughs contain the complete objectives, bonus conditions and solo strategies. Together, the missions establish Faber as a financier whose influence extends across wealthy clients, valuable property and competing criminal organizations.

Faber returns as the financier behind the Kortz Center Heist, released on July 14, 2026. His clientele want a rotating selection of rare Primary Targets stored inside the Kortz Center's vault, and the player can sell stolen pieces to those buyers after the finale.²

The heist expands Faber's operation beyond money laundering into the high-end art market. The player works through Faber's fixer, who shares intelligence and buyer requests during planning, while expert counterfeiter Yong-Rae prepares replacements for the stolen works. Rockstar also allows Mansion owners to keep eligible paintings for display instead of selling them to Faber's clientele.³
