You can purchase the Hands On Car Wash property through the Maze Bank Foreclosures website on your in-game phone. You can also visit the Car Wash location directly and buy it by interacting with the purchase sign outside. The Hands On Car Wash property costs $1,000,000. You also have the option to spend an additional $10,000 for a tint of your choice.
Once you've purchased the car wash, you can enter the property and interact with the laptop. From there, you'll have four options:
- Start a Car Wash Mission (legal job)
- Initiate a Money Laundering Mission (illegal job)
- Undertake Mr. Faber's Contact Missions
- Expand operations which allows you to purchase two other businesses
Once you've purchased the other two businesses, you'll find they operate with a similar structure. Each has an office where you can initiate either a legal job or money laundering missions.
Heat Mechanic
The Heat mechanic is a new feature introduced across all three businesses. You'll notice a small bar indicating your Heat level when you're inside any of your business properties.
This bar increases by 10% every time you complete a money laundering mission. If you complete 10 money laundering missions, the Heat bar will become full. When the Heat bar is full, you won't be able to do any more money laundering missions, and your establishment will be raided.
However, you can decrease the Heat bar completely back down to zero by completing just one legal job. For example, with the Car Wash business, completing a single legal car wash mission will reset your Heat level.
The same Heat mechanic and reduction method applies to your other businesses, Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water. Completing one legal job for each of those businesses will also reset their respective Heat bars to zero.
Expanding Business
Once you've set up your Car Wash, you can purchase the other two new businesses through its laptop: Higgins Helitours and the Smoke on the Water weed shop. Both of these businesses feature the same operational structure as the Car Wash, offering different legal and money laundering missions tailored to their themes.
Here's the cost for each:
- Higgins Helitours: $900,000 (with an optional $10,000 for tint)
- Smoke on the Water: $850,000 (with an optional $10,000 for tint)
Property Bonuses
Purchasing these new businesses also provides benefits to your existing properties:
- Hands On Car Wash: Boosts your Counterfeit Cash Factory (MC Club) income by 35%.
- Smoke on the Water: Increases your Weed Farm (MC Club) income by 35%.
- Higgins Helitours: Increases your Hangar Cargo value by 10% overall.
It's important to note that these bonuses directly affect your MC businesses and do not impact your Nightclub income.
Making Money
There are essentially six primary ways to earn money in the Money Fronts DLC:
Legal Work (from your businesses)
Legal Work missions are the core operation of your businesses. For instance, the Car Wash's legal job requires you to pick up a client's car and bring it back to your car wash for cleaning. Once it's spotless, you deliver it back to their house. You'll receive a bonus for ensuring the car remains undamaged; the more damage it sustains, the lower your tip will be. You can earn just under $2,000 for completing these missions.
Money Laundering Missions
Money laundering missions are where you'll make the bulk of your profits. Each business property has its own unique set of these missions, with four variants per business type. They're generally simple and straightforward.
For example, a Car Wash money laundering mission might involve going to a specific location to find a container holding a car you need to steal. Once you've stolen the vehicle, you have two options: deliver it to Hao's Special Works or take it to your Salvage Yard to scrap it for cash. After securing the cash, you then deliver it back to your Car Wash to complete the mission.
The Salvage Yard option is only available if you've purchased one; otherwise, you'll always deliver to Hao's. The convenience of having a Salvage Yard is that it's directly across the street from your Car Wash, allowing for a quick run back with your earnings.
You can earn around $35,000 per mission. There is no cooldown before you can start another money laundering mission and it only takes around 10 minutes or less.
Once you've completed a money laundering mission, you can collect the laundered money from the table by your bed approximately 10 minutes after the mission's completion.
Mr. Faber Work consists of six new contact missions that can be initiated from any of your business properties: the Car Wash, Smoke on the Water, or Higgins Helitour. Simply interact with the laptop inside one of these properties, and you'll find the option to start "Mr. Faber Work."
These are more extensive missions that delve deeper into Mr. Faber's storyline. They typically pay around $20,000, but if you complete the bonus objectives, you'll earn an additional $10,000. This bonus is known as max profit.
If you successfully complete all six missions, your total earnings will be approximately $120,000 to $140,000. The missions can be completed solo or with friends.
The following are the six missions:
Business Safe Income
The Car Wash also offers a source of passive income through its safe, with earnings influenced by the other businesses you own in GTA Online. The safe generates approximately $30,000 every in-game day, which translates to about 48 minutes in real-time, if you own all the other listed businesses in GTA Online.
However, if money accumulates in the safe and you don't collect it, your Heat bar will increase by 8% every 48 minutes. The safe has a maximum capacity of $100,000, so make sure to collect your money regularly to avoid hitting the cap and increasing your Heat.
The listed new businesses — the Car Wash, Higgins Helitours, and Smoke on the Water — will initially generate only $750 each in their respective safes. However, you can double this income to $1,500 per business.
To do this, you need to complete 15 money laundering missions for each specific business. For example, if you complete 15 money laundering missions for Higgins Helitours, the safe income from that business will be permanently doubled.
Daily Collectibles (Red Harvest)
You can also earn money by collecting Red Harvest weed bags daily. This is a recurring collectible that offers a decent payout.
Every day, ten Red Harvest bags will spawn in various locations across Los Santos. Collecting a single bag will reward you with $7,500 and 500 RP. If you collect all ten to meet the daily requirement, you'll earn an additional $25,000 bonus, bringing your total daily earnings from this activity to $100,000 and 5,000 RP. You can repeat this every day.
The locations are random and changes everyday, check out the GTAWeb.eu map to get the up to date locations of the weed bags.
QuickiePharm
QuickiePharm is a new type of free roam mission in GTA Online where you're tasked with delivering medical supplies to various locations.
You can earn between $37,000 to $37,500 for about 10-15 minutes of work. Each individual delivery can pay around $2,000, $5,000, or $7,500.
After completing all deliveries for the first time, you'll also unlock the trade price for the Ubermacht Sentinel GTS. Its original cost of $2,172,000 will be reduced to $1,629,000.
Bobcat Security
Another way to earn money with the Money Fronts DLC is through the Bobcat Security missions. These are similar to QuickiePharm, requiring you to deliver valuable goods. However, this time you'll be driving a Bobcat Security Stockade, which is basically a modified version of the Gruppe Sechs stockade.
To start a Bobcat Security delivery mission, head to the "B" icon on your map. Bobcat Security operates from the Bilgeco maintenance warehouse in Terminal, Los Santos, San Andreas.
Interact with the white highlighted mission marker to begin. You can earn anywhere from $17,500 to $20,000 per delivery. The exact amount is random but will always fall within that range. Your final payment will also depend on how much damage your vehicle takes on the way to the drop-off point.
As you make your way to the drop-off point, some enemies will try to chase and shoot your vehicle. They aren't a huge threat. Your main focus should be driving safely and avoiding any collisions with other vehicles or the enemies pursuing you.
Any hits to your vehicle will decrease your final payment. While the reduction is gradual and not immediately significant, it can add up if you repeatedly crash into obstacles or other vehicles.
After completing at least five deliveries, you'll earn a special outfit: The Bobcat Security Driver Outfit.
Gruppe Sechs
Much like the QuickiePharm and Bobcat Security missions, the Gruppe Sechs missions involve delivering more high-value goods. The same rules from Bobcat Security apply here, with the only differences being the Gruppe Sechs branded stockade and the mission starting location in Pillbox Hill, Downtown Los Santos.
The Gruppe Sechs missions also pay between $17,500 and $20,000, with the final value decreasing based on how much damage your vehicle takes on the way to the drop-off point.
After completing five deliveries, you'll unlock The Defender outfit, which you can find under the "Outfits: Diamond Casino Heist > Gruppe Sechs Gear" category.
