GTA VI O'Clock says that the next GTA 6 trailer might be dropping in early April.
GTA VI O'Clock, one of the most trusted voices when it comes to whatever is happening in Grand Theft Auto, has it on good authority that the next Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is just right around the corner. In their latest newsletter, GTA VI O'Clock revealed that they received multiple emails from insiders stating that they know when the next GTA 6 trailer is coming out.
They singled out one specific "credible tip-off" that said that GTA 6 Trailer 2 is set to drop in early April. They add that Rockstar Games' marketing strategies for their previous blockbuster titles, Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, has revealed a pattern that supports this timeline.
In 2013 and 2018, respectively, both GTA 5 and GTA 6 followed a compressed five to six-month marketing campaign leading up to their respective launches. Although if we're going by that logic, we might also be in for a delay as well as both titles were delayed from their original release dates.
Skepticism aside, multiple signs do point to GTA 6 getting a new trailer sometime next month. Its Fall 2025 release window, which Take-Two Interactive recently doubled down on and an anonymous developer all but confirmed—the same source, however, didn't rule out a Spring 2026 delay—and the company's increased marketing budget suggests that more GTA 6 information is coming between April and September, especially after Borderlands 4 is released.
Given the multiple credible factors in play, Rockstar may indeed be gearing up to follow their tried-and-tested promotion strategy, as they have been remarkably consistent with their approach.
That said, even the most reliable sources can sometimes miss the mark. Rockstar, in particular, is famous for playing things close to the chest and has been known to subvert expectations. Not to mention, their penchant for cameos and trolling fans for the sake of it means that the source could've been being misdirected. On the other hand, if the predictions hold true, we could be mere weeks away from our next look at the sprawling world of Vice City and its colorful cast of characters.
For now, fans can keep themselves busy with Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, which is the closest we can get to how good GTA 6 wil look outside of the first trailer.
