GTA Online's latest update is taking players to new heights with the McKenzie Field Hangar.
Grab your pilot jumpsuits and get read to soar through the skies above the McKenzie Airfield once again. The latest Grand Theft Auto Online update has landed with a bang, bringing a new property, thrilling missions, and an assortment of aircraft to Los Santos. Like many updates before it, this one also makes nods to the over decade-old story mode.
With the introduction of the new GTA Online update, players can now purchase the McKenzie Field Hangar for $1,475,000 through the Maze Bank Floreclosure website. This investment unlocks a series of six action-packed missions centered around the notorious arms trafficker Oscar Guzman. Namely, "Up and Running", "Setup: Mogul", "Setup: Intel", "Setup: Iron Mule", "Setup: Ammuniation", and "The Titan Job."
These missions involve intense firefights, daring heists, and high-stakes aerial maneuvers. Players will find themselves battling cougars, stealing Mogul aircraft, hacking servers with remote-controlled drones, evading heat-seeking missiles, and even destroying submarines in pursuit of valuable cargo.
Upon acquiring the hangar, players are treated to a cutscene where Oscar Guzman himself, a close associate of everyone's favorite unhinged madman Trevor Philips, introduces them to his gunrunning business and provides a tour of the new property. The hangar comes equipped with its own office, where players can register as a CEO or MC Club President to access the new missions through the laptop.
In addition to the main storyline, the McKenzie Field Hangar opens up four new repeatable Arms Trafficking missions. These operations task players with intercepting rival smugglers' deliveries and safely dropping them off to waiting clients. The McKenzie Field Hangar itself gives owners an additional 15 aircraft storage slots (20 if you're subscribed to GTA+) and convenience access to personal aircrafts while allowing for direct takeoffs from its runway.
Speaking of new vehicles, the update introduces several exciting additions to the game, namely the Invetero Coquette D5, which players can purchase from Legendary Motorsport for $1,730,000. For those preferring to take to the skies, Warstock Cache & Carry now offers the formidable Titan 250 D gunship and the versatile Buckingham DH-7 Iron Mule helicopter at $4,870,000 and $2,345,000, respectively.
Elitas Travel has also received its first new addition since the Criminal Enterprises update, the Western Duster 300-H, for $1,020,000, and a trade price of $765,000 unlockable through the new missions. Rockstar Games has hinted at more content to come in the following months, including a special "smoked-out" version of the Hunting Pack mode arriving just in time for 4/20.
The Oscar Guzman Flies Again Week arrives just in time as Rockstar Games also introduced the fifth edition of Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, exclusive to PC. Many are hoping that its arrival clears the docket for Rockstar to finally reveal more about Grand Theft Auto 6, preferably in April.
