Multiple Easter eggs are suggesting Michael De Santa might be trading his Los Santos life for Florida sunshine.

They say if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, then it is a duck. So when there's evidence of more than one connection between Grand Theft Auto 6 and Grand Theft Auto 5, is it safe to say that we're going to see one of the fifth game's protagonists appear in the upcoming sequel?

While there's no confirmation that Rockstar Games will bring back Michael De Santa to appear in Vice City, it hasn't been shy about deliberately dropping hints of a potential connection.

In fact, in the most recent set of images released on the updated GTA 6 website, fans spotted a small cameo of one of Michael's projects. Just to refresh your memory, Michael De Santa isn't just an accomplished career criminal. When not planning heists, he is a rising professional in the film industry, and he's credited as an associate producer for "Meltdown", a film by Solomon Richards' Richards Majestic Studios.

Now, why are we bringing up this small tid-bit of information that most Grand Theft Auto fans may have forgotten? Because Rockstar just brought it up. As pointed out by several users on multiple social media platforms, including Reddit, zooming into the middle left part of this [image](File:Jason Duval 7.jpg) shows "Meltdown" in one of the shelves.

What makes this particularly interesting is that this isn't the first time that a connection between Michael and Leonida has been made. Shortly following the release of the second_GTA 6_trailer, observers were quick to spot Michael's boat, the Marquis, near the beginning of the trailer. A few weeks before this, fans spotted what could've been an older Tracey De Santa enjoying her time in Florida.

Even more telling is that Ned Luke, the actor behind the popular_GTA 5_protagonist, even bothered to reply to this theory. These cheeky references came weeks after Ned Luke went viral for hinting at a_Grand Theft Auto Online_appearance. Considering that Michael is the only_GTA 5_protagonist who still hasn't reappeared following his escapades with Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton in Los Santos, fans are undoubtedly wondering what Michael has been up to all these years.

Wouldn't it be something if he were hanging around in Florida, working as a director or producer and helping out her daughter pursue a celebrity career? With over a year before_GTA 6_ comes out on May 26, 2026, it'll be a while before we get an official answer to this question.
