Nearly five years after Ned Luke mentioned being open to reprising his role as Michael De Santa in a DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online, he appears to have changed his mind. On April 20 the Grand Theft Auto V actor posted a positive reply to a fan asking him to join GTA Online - but in a follow-up post, the 66-year-old actor clarified that he's not sure now if he'd say yes to Rockstar Games even if they asked, saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

Michael De Santa is the only GTA V protagonist that hasn't appeared in GTA Online, which takes place years after the events of GTA 5. Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton have both been added to GTA Online, playing prominent roles in massive updates (and canonizing one of the endings). So it's only natural for fans to wonder if Michael De Santa will join the trio eventually.

With that said, Luke's words does confirm that it's not happening anytime soon. Then again, maybe there's some reverse psychology in play and this is his way of confirming that the Michael De Santa DLC is coming to GTA Online ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 sometime later this year. We've been informed this is something kids like to call a "cope" these days.
