Floodgates Open: GTA 6 Official Website Unleashes Tons of New Screenshots, Art & Details

It's like Rockstar released an entire year's worth of content updates in one go.

The floodgates have opened - with the long awaited release of the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 also came a massive overhaul of the official GTA 6 website. What was once filled in with pretty much a placeholder in the form of first and only piece of official GTA 6 artwork is now a comprehensive page containing many new details about the upcoming sixthquel.

Rockstar Games must have sensed the unease of Grand Theft Auto fans from around the world following the catastrophic delay, so they thought to drop what could've been a year's worth of dripfeed content all at once within just minutes of each other. The best part? None of this was leaked beforehand, unlike with the first GTA 6 trailer.

Have a look at some of the screenshots and artwork below yourself. It's definitely giving "worth waiting for" vibes!

The release of the second GTA 6 trailer came with no prior announcements, saving it from being leaked all over the internet. Rockstar also threw in a tongue-in-cheek reference to its unfortunate luck at the very start of the trailer, with the protagonist, Jason, talking about how he's fixing leaks. The new GTA 6 trailer is now expected to give the first one a run for its money as the most-viewed video game trailer within 24 hours, as acknowledged by the Guinness World Records.

GTA 6 is currently set for a May 26, 2026 release, as confirmed by last week's delay. The end of the second GTA 6 trailer specifically mentions that it uses in-game footage on the PlayStation 5, hinting at even better graphics on the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Unfortunately, while a PC port is in development, GTA 6 trailer 2 doesn't mention PC at all. It also doesn't show the logo of the Nintendo Switch 2. Although expected, there was at least some hope that GTA 6 would be available on the incoming hybrid console, especially after what Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said about supporting Nintendo earlier this year.
