GTA 6's listing on the Xbox Store goes live as the game's 2026 release date approaches.

The end of the long road to playing Grand Theft Auto 6 on May 26, 2026 is now one step closer after Rockstar Games opened the game up for wishlisting on the Xbox Store. Rockstar initially made GTA 6 available for wishlisting on the PlayStation Store soon after the release of the second trailer.

Now, Xbox players can finally breathe a sigh of relief and do the same. Before today, GTA 6's product page was only up on the PlayStation Store, unavailable to Xbox owners. No doubt, this is because of Sony's rumored marketing deal with Rockstar, which likely covers the entire Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Of course, wishlisting is different from a pre-order. You still can't pre-order GTA 6, as much as these retail stores in Malaysia and Switzerland would like you to believe otherwise. At the very least though, you can finally view GTA 6's store page on both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.

The GTA 6 listing on the Xbox Store is the same as on the PlayStation Store: it comes with the game's keyart as its background alongside screenshots and the official logo.

After catching everyone off guard with the release of GTA 6's second trailer, which broke records and garnered more views than the first trailer, Rockstar has been relatively quiet.

Aside from the release of the Money Fronts DLC, we've not heard much from the devs. However, this silence is likely to end soon, with the latest update containing information about upcoming content for Grand Theft Auto Online . GTA 6 is currently set to release on May 26, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. A PC release is not yet officially confirmed, but we do know that it is in development.
