There is no Grand Theft Auto VI Collector's Edition. When pre-orders opened on June 25, Rockstar Games released exactly two editions. We didn't get a steel book, a statue, art book, or a physical collector's package of any kind, and with launch under four months away, none is expected. Yet, thousands of people are looking for a product that was never made, which is exactly why the listings you keep finding are so confusing.
Again though. There are only two editions of the next Grand Theft Auto. Different from older games, including Grand Theft Auto V, all we get is the Standard Edition, the complete game, and the Ultimate Edition, which adds digital bonuses and exclusive content. For comparison, Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018 shipped a Special Edition, an Ultimate Edition, and a separate physical Collector's Box with a metal tin, a puzzle, playing cards, a map and other trinkets. Rockstar has done elaborate physical editions before, and did them well. So the absence here is a choice.

Possible reasons why Grand Theft Auto VI is shipping without a physical collector's package.
GTA 6's physical edition is a download code in a box rather than a disc, and Sony Interactive Entertainment is winding down disc production entirely. A lavish physical box built around a game with no disc in it would be a strange thing to sell, and it would cut against the direction the whole industry is moving. Besides, a statue costs money to make and a digital upgrade doesn't. None of that makes the absence a scandal, and none of it makes it a favour to fans either.
Now the part that actually helps if you have tried and looked for a more expensive GTA 6 edition. What are all these listings you keep saying?
Because the term "GTA 6 Collector's Edition" has real search demand and no official product attached, a lot of companies have tried to fill the gap, and some of them are scams. None of these is an official Collector's Edition, because there is no such thing to sell. So could a real one still show up? Maybe. It isn't impossible.
Rockstar could announce a physical item later, and sell merchandise, apparel and special drops through its own store after a game is out. If a gameplay reveal or a launch event is still coming, a company could in theory pair a physical announcement with it.
Unfortunately, nothing has leaked, and if you are holding out hope for an official collector's box, treat it as a maybe. Do not pre-order anything on the assumption it is coming.
Otherwise, as we've already mention, you might fall for scams. A hugely wanted product that does not exist is the perfect thing to fake, because buyers cannot compare a listing against the real thing.
