An X user from an individual who claims to work as a short-term packaging worker at a Mexican factory posted images of a large black box branded "Vice City: Leonida" with the GTA 6 logo, said it was bigger than a PlayStation 5 box with multiple internal compartments, and floated the idea that a "circular piece" inside might hold a disc. The thread lit up ResetEra. It is also not verifiable.
The poster has since deleted the photos, no outlet with real sources has authenticated them, and Rockstar Games has said nothing. Observers have already pointed out that the box could just as easily be a press kit, an influencer package, a mock-up, or completely unrelated packaging.

None of this changes the reality, at least for now. Rockstar has announced exactly only two editions of GTA 6: the $79.99 Standard and the $99.99 Ultimate, the latter adding digital in-game content. Neither is a traditional collector's edition with statues or art books. The "physical" version is a code in a box with no disc, and Rockstar has reportedly zero plans for a post-launch release. Take-Two Interactive has not hinted otherwise.
Even if a physical box does eventually surface, it would not mean what people are hoping. Red Dead Redemption 2 had a collector's box, and it did not include a playable disc either, just physical trinkets and a separate code. So a fancy "Vice City: Leonida" package, real or not, is not the same as the package as Grand Theft Auto V that fans want to see.
