Some of the biggest names in rap, country, rock and electronic music have begun sharing pieces of a new Grand Theft Auto VI artwork campaign. Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen, Metro Boomin, Yung Lean, Rauw Alejandro, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Keith Richards and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso all posted GTA 6 images on September 15, putting music at the centre of Rockstar Games' latest pre-release tease.

The posts arrived within hours of one another and several artists shared the same images. This is a planned Rockstar campaign, not a string of unrelated fan posts. With so many musicians involved, it is highly likely that the rollout will lead to songs, radio appearances or other roles in GTA 6. The part Rockstar is holding back is how each artist fits in.

Rather than publishing a conventional lineup, Rockstar has turned the opening stage of its music campaign into a puzzle spread across the artists' accounts.

Who shared the new GTA 6 artwork?

The rollout stretches well beyond one genre. Travis Scott posted artwork showing purple high heels wrapped around a pole. Morgan Wallen shared a pool ladder against a sunset-coloured background. Future posted the rear of a purple Coquette carrying a Leonida plate, while Metro Boomin and Yung Lean shared the same car image.

A second group used artwork centred on a yacht. The image appeared through CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Fred again.. and a PinkPantheress-linked account. Keith Richards joined the campaign with an iguana image, and Rauw Alejandro shared another piece from the rollout.

Hendrix Smoke widened the trail by tagging Don Toliver, Kodak Black, ATL Jacob and RushDee in an Instagram Story connected to the campaign. Those tags hint at more artists around the rollout, although the temporary Story did not explain their involvement.

The repeated artwork may be the most interesting clue. Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean were grouped around the Coquette, while CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Fred again.. and the PinkPantheress-linked account shared the yacht. Those pairings could point to collaborations, radio groupings or another part of the campaign. Rockstar has not revealed the connection yet, but the repetition looks deliberate.

Travis Scott appears to point toward Jack of Hearts

Travis Scott's post contains the most specific tease. Alongside the artwork, he wrote "PHASE 1", referred to his return to gaming and included the abbreviated clue "J... O. H....." while tagging Rockstar.

The most likely reading is Jack of Hearts, the Vice City strip club owned by Boobie Ike in GTA 6. The pole, high heels and initials all point in that direction. The remaining mystery is what Scott will do there: the tease could lead to a song, a performance, an appearance at the club or a larger role in the game's music scene.

"Phase 1" is also the clearest sign that more is coming. Additional artists, a completed version of the artwork and more explicit music details would all fit the way this opening wave has been staged. Whatever Rockstar has planned, September 15 looks like the beginning of the reveal rather than the entire announcement.

Why this looks like a major music rollout

Rockstar has brought rap, country, rock, reggaeton and electronic artists into the same campaign. That range is a natural fit for GTA's radio stations, which have always used sharply different genres, hosts and personalities to make the game world feel larger. It also makes some form of GTA 6 music involvement highly likely for the artists taking part, even though Rockstar has not assigned songs, stations or roles to individual names yet.

The campaign arrives after the first two trailers and Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look introduced 20 songs across Rockstar's official videos. Those tracks already stretch from Tom Petty and The Pointer Sisters to contemporary rap, Latin music and club records. The new artist lineup suggests Rockstar is ready to move from individual video choices toward the people shaping the game's broader musical identity.

This rollout is best understood alongside our GTA 6 soundtrack tracker, which follows the songs used in Rockstar's videos, direct artist statements and the strongest clues around the in-game soundtrack. Set against the 20 songs already confirmed through Rockstar's videos, this campaign gives that tracked picture its biggest new group of names.

The artists' accounts are carrying the reveal

The campaign uses the artists' own accounts instead of presenting a conventional list. Each crop reaches a different audience, while the repeated images encourage fans to compare posts and search for connections. It follows a run of unusual GTA 6 reveals that includes the 26-minute Extended Look on Netflix, which later topped Netflix with 311 million views.

GTA 6 pre-orders are now live, and the game's November 19 launch is approaching. Music remains one of the biggest parts of the game that Rockstar has yet to map out, making this coordinated artist campaign especially significant.

Travis Scott's apparent Jack of Hearts clue is the strongest individual lead, while the shared Coquette and yacht images provide two intriguing artist groupings. If "Phase 1" means what it sounds like, more names and clearer music details should follow. This first wave has already made one thing difficult to miss: artists from across the musical spectrum are likely to be a major part of GTA 6's world.
