Within a few days of launching on PC, Grand Theft Auto V beat The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the then-record number of concurrent users on Steam for a game that wasn't made by Valve. Of course, things have changed since, and many more games have seen plenty more players flock the digital games distribution platform - that doesn't mean it isn't worth celebrating GTA V reaching a similar milestone nearly ten years after it became available on PC.

As per SteamDB, the last time that GTA V hit over 300,000 active players was in April 2015 and the combined player count of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and Grand Theft Auto V Legacy has been hovering around that number since March 4 with each game individually ranked among the most-played games on Steam over the past week.
