Grand Theft Auto Online's much awaited update, A Safehouse in the Hills, is finally here, and with it comes three purchasable mansions scattered across Los Santos' wealthiest neighborhoods. Each property comes with a 20-car garage, a rooftop helipad with a free helicopter, and enough customization options to keep interior decorators busy for hours.
The three locations are the Richman Villa between Los Santos and Vinewood Hills, the Tongva Estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean near Marlowe vineyard, and the Vinewood Residence with city views under the famous sign. All three share the same amenities but differ in scenery and location.
Inside your new mansion, you'll find a master control terminal for managing businesses remotely, an office space, and optional add-ons like an armory, arcade room, and vehicle workshop. The property includes a barber and tattoo artist, so you can change your appearance without leaving home. Outside, there's yoga equipment and gym gear for temporary stat boosts, plus a pool and hot tub. You can also adopt dogs or cats as nameable companions.
The standout feature is the AI assistant concierge. You can pick from three personalities, and this virtual butler will handle tasks like delivering champagne, organizing mansion parties, fast traveling you to other properties, and boosting production at your businesses for 24 hours. The assistant's combination of helpfulness and programmed servitude fits perfectly into GTA's satirical tone.
Players who completed the three New Listings Missions before this update qualify for a GTA$2,000,000 discount on any mansion through January 7. That's a massive chunk off what are presumably multi-million dollar properties.
