Rockstar Games shines the spotlight on one of Grand Theft Auto Online's latest additions, the Junk Yard, in its newest update.
The January 18 Grand Theft Auto Online update has introduced an array of new features and bonuses, particularly for players willing to get their hands dirty and get involved in Salvage Yard activities. The latest weekly update, while not featuring the most significant discounts on properties or cars, offers a variety of engaging activities for players to earn cash and rewards.
One of the key highlights of this update is the emphasis on the Salvage Yard, a recent addition to the game. Players who own a Salvage Yard will benefit significantly, as the income generated from this property is now doubled from the 18th through the 24th. This boost in income is a welcome addition for players engaging in various in-game activities, including robberies launched from the Salvage Yard.
The update also introduces Tow Truck Services for Salvage Yard owners. Players need to purchase a Tow Truck, which is currently available at a 40% discount for GTA+ Members, to participate in these services. The Tow Truck jobs provide an opportunity to increase the Salvage Yard's reputation and boost passive income but also offer substantial cash and RP rewards. This feature adds a new dimension to the gameplay, allowing players to clean up the streets of Los Santos and make money while they're at it.
Additionally, the update includes a set of high-stakes Salvage Yard Robberies. GTA Online players can team up for multi-part operations to liberate various vehicles, like the Vysser Neo (Sports), Karin Everon (Off-Road), and Weeny Issi Rally (SUV). These robberies add an element of excitement and challenge, as players plan and execute complex heists.
