Rockstar Games reveals workaround for players to get their missing Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack benefits.
Did you recently upgrade to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC and are wondering where your Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack benefits are? If so, you're not alone. A little over a month after Rockstar Games released the embattled free upgrade to Grand Theft Auto V on PC, Rockstar has updated their Character Migration support page.
According to Rockstar's updated support article, players must first install and launch the Grand Theft Auto V Legacy, included with the purchase of GTA V Enhanced. Players will need to log in to this edition to claim the Criminal Enterprise Start Pack before you can access them in-game. The process isn't as simple as just logging in and out, however. Rockstar warns that the GTA$ may take up to 7-10 days to be delivered to the player's in-game Maze Bank account.
Another thing of note is to claim the benefits using the specific character they want to migrate from GTA V Legacy to GTA V Enhanced. This is because character migration is a one-time process, which still has a few kinks that Rockstar needs to iron out. This isn't exactly the most streamlined way of accessing what should be available to players right from the get go, but at least Rockstar has worked something out.
Hopefully, they'll find a way to make redemption easier, especially as the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack is the best way to get a jump on your Grand Theft Auto Online career without having to buy Shark Cards. It'll be interesting to see if reaching out to Rockstar Games Support can help speed things along, or at least net you some form of compensation, like what this player received.
In other news, Rockstar has been quite busy pushing out updates and patches for GTA Online in recent weeks. They've released their sixth patch in a little over a month, preparing GTA V and GTA Online for their arrival to the PC Game Pass on April 15. In between, Rockstar has been issuing fixes to the growing list of problems faced by the second-best-selling video game of all time, including a lack of support for the Steam Deck and an ongoing unexplained ban wave.
