TL;DR Summary

Nine sources including leaker NateTheHate now confirm the November 19 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S launch is holding, aligning with Take Two's SEC filing and Rockstar's own announcement.

NateTheHate said on X on Sunday, June 14, that Grand Theft Auto VI is launching on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X as scheduled.

For anyone unfamiliar with NateTheHate, he is a podcaster and leaker who has built his reputation on being correct about Nintendo, PlayStation, and industry-wide announcements before they happen. He accurately predicted Zelda and Metroid reveals, Switch 2 details, and multiple unannounced projects before official confirmation. His track record is not perfect, but he is among the most credible independent voices in the industry.

When he says a date is real, it most likely is.

With that said, this isn't new information.

Rockstar Games confirmed November 19. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said it on a recorded earnings call, on a podcast, and at TD Cowen. Take-Two filed $8 billion in guidance with the SEC that mathematically requires the game to ship on time. What NateTheHate adds is an independent voice confirming from his own sources that the date is holding.

The confirmation comes after what happened five days ago. A small X account claimed GTA 6 isn't coming out later this year. The post went viral, and we debunked it with eight independent data points. NateTheHate's corroboration is the ninth.

The weight of evidence is so overwhelming that including the lone delay rumor makes the case stronger.

Then again, you can't blame Grand Theft Auto fans for going all Trevor Philips whenever they hear rumors of a GTA 6 delay.

The fact is, three delays have created the kind of anxiety that we will never see again from any game. GTA 6 was originally targeting Fall 2025 before being pushed to May 2026, then to November 2026, with Zelnick revealing at TD Cowen that the game was 18 months behind its original internal target. Three delays in two years left fans conditioned to expect another. Every rumor, every anonymous claim, every vague social media post gets interpreted through the lens of "is it happening again?"

NateTheHate's corroboration isn't the same as an SEC filing. However, it does carry the community-credibility weight of a person who has been right about things the community cares about.

When the SEC filing says November 19 and a trusted leaker independently says November 19, the remaining space for delay anxiety shrinks further.

The marketing starts in days, the FIFA World Cup opened last week, summer starts on June 21, Trailer 3 is coming, and the pre-orders along with it.

As for GTA 6, it's coming on November 19. Why? Because the CEO said so, the SEC filing says so, Wall Street says so, Xbox as well as PlayStation say so, and now, NateTheHate says so too.
