NateTheHate said on X on Sunday, June 14, that Grand Theft Auto VI is launching on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X as scheduled.
For anyone unfamiliar with NateTheHate, he is a podcaster and leaker who has built his reputation on being correct about Nintendo, PlayStation, and industry-wide announcements before they happen. He accurately predicted Zelda and Metroid reveals, Switch 2 details, and multiple unannounced projects before official confirmation. With that said, this isn't new information.
Rockstar Games confirmed November 19. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said it on a recorded earnings call, on a podcast, and at TD Cowen. Take-Two filed $8 billion in guidance with the SEC that mathematically requires the game to ship on time. The weight of evidence is so overwhelming that including the lone delay rumor makes the case stronger.
Then again, you can't blame Grand Theft Auto fans for going all Trevor Philips whenever they hear rumors of a GTA 6 delay.
The fact is, three delays have created the kind of anxiety that we will never see again from any game. GTA 6 was originally targeting Fall 2025 before being pushed to May 2026, then to November 2026, with Zelnick revealing at TD Cowen that the game was 18 months behind its original internal target.
