Bravado is a fictional American vehicle manufacturer in the Grand Theft Auto series. It first appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV's Liberty City, returned in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, and also appears in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Brand identity
Bravado draws most heavily from Dodge, particularly its American muscle-car image and emphasis on performance.1 Individual Bravado vehicles also borrow from other manufacturers, and Rockstar has not identified Dodge as the official basis for the entire fictional brand.
The bull-head Bravado badge echoes Ram branding, while the updated badge used on the Banshee GTS gives the marque a separate racing identity.
Notable vehicles
- Bravado Banshee: A long-running two-seat sports car that has appeared since Grand Theft Auto III. Rockstar built a full-size version with West Coast Customs for a 2013 GTA V promotion.2
- Bravado Buffalo: A performance sedan line with civilian and law-enforcement versions.
- Bravado Gauntlet: A muscle-car family with road, racing and police variants.
- Bravado Hotring Hellfire: A stock car with extensive racing customization.
- Bravado Rumpo: A commercial van used across several games.
- Bravado Buffalo Police Cruiser: A law-enforcement version of the Buffalo, covered alongside other purchasable vehicles in the GTA Online police-cars guide.
GTA Online
GTA Online has expanded Bravado's range across Los Santos with sports cars, muscle cars, vans, off-road vehicles and police variants. Agents of Sabotage introduced the Banshee GTS as a new member of the Banshee line.3
Where and how players obtain each vehicle depends on the model. Some are sold through Legendary Motorsport or Southern San Andreas Super Autos, while certain law-enforcement variants require missions before they can be purchased.
GTA VI
The Rumpo is visible in Rockstar's first GTA VI trailer, which takes the series back to Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.4 Rockstar has not published a complete list of Bravado vehicles in the game.
