Oktoberfest has arrived to GTA Online, bringing with it a motherlode of Pißwasser goodies for players.
Remember how the Bottom Dollar Bounties brought an influx of new content to Grand Theft Auto Online recently? Rockstar Games certainly does, and wants to make sure that players remember it too — so this week we're getting a bunch of Bounty Bonuses, a fairly common theme recently. It isn't all a rehash though, as we have Oktoberfest promotions spicing things up.
Hit up the Bail Office through the 25th of September and complete Standard or Most Wanted bounty missions, all of which are now paying double the usual rate both for RP and GTA$. If you really get a hang of bringing in miscreants and complete six bounty missions, you'll earn a one-time bonus of GTA$ 100,000 for completing the Weekly Challenge, on top of the boosted earnings.
While it isn't October yet, nor will it even be October next week, Rockstar doesn't let pesky technicalities like the linear flow of time get in the way of kicking off festivities. Starting this week and lasting through the 9th of October, Oktoberfest is live in GTA Online and is absolutely loaded with Pißwasser promotions.
Simply logging into the game anytime during the event will grant you a bunch of free gifts, including the Pißwasser Good Time Tee, the Gold Pißwasser Shorts, the Alpine Outfit, the Pißwasser Race Red and Pißwasser Race White limited-time liveries for the Übermacht Cypher (Drift), and the Pißwasser Race Geometry and Pißwasser Race limited-time liveries for the Übermacht Sentinel Classic Widebody (Drift).
You probably shouldn't be drinking on the job, and while the on-going Oktoberfest event is going to make that a bit harder, Rockstar threw in some extra incentive to staying sober on the clock and staying employed — with tripled GTA$ and RP on Bodyguard and Associate salary payouts.
