Ammu-Nation is a weapons retailer in GTA Online. Its stores provide a place to buy weapons and ammunition, with access to particular weapons depending on their acquisition requirements. The Ammu-Nation Contract uses the same retailer name for a separate Bunker delivery activity.

Ammu-Nation also sells body armor, making it a useful stop when preparing for combat.1 Buying a weapon and replenishing its ammunition are distinct uses of the counter.

Weapons and purchase requirements

Some weapons require a rank or discovery unlock before you can buy them. Others come from a different source, even when Ammu-Nation supplies their ammunition.

The Gun Van is a separate mobile vendor with a changing location and rotating weapon selection. Its weapons, ammunition and armor are discounted, and purchases have no rank requirement.3 Check its current selection before making the trip.

Store locations and shooting ranges

Use the Ammu-Nation map to find a nearby branch. The Cypress Flats and Pillbox Hill stores also have shooting ranges for target practice.

Ammu-Nation Contract

The Criminal Enterprises introduced an arrangement through Agent 14 to sell excess weapon parts to Ammu-Nation.4 In the Ammu-Nation Contract, players deliver a truck from their Bunker to the designated store for payment. Here, Ammu-Nation is the delivery customer, while ordinary store visits put the player on the buying side.
