The Los Santos Car Meet is a social and customization hub introduced in GTA Online as part of the Los Santos Tuners update.
Located in an underground warehouse in Cypress Flats, Los Santos, it serves as a meeting point for car enthusiasts to showcase their rides, participate in races, and access exclusive vehicle customization options.
With the release of the Grand Theft Auto V Expanded and Enhanced version of GTA Online for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X and later on, Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC, the LS Car Meet features an expansion known as Hao's Special Works. This addition offers exclusive vehicle conversions, customization options, and racing-based activities not available on other platforms.
Access
When you start GTA Online, you will receive a text from Mimi, inviting you to the LS Car Meet. The meet is located in a warehouse in Cypress Flats. To find it, look for a building that emits revving noises near its main entrance. You can enter either on foot or in a vehicle. Upon entering the warehouse, a cutscene will play, showcasing some of the custom cars owned by local enthusiasts. During this introduction, you will meet Mimi, the LS Car Meet's founder.
Starting Missions at the LS Car Meet
To begin missions, speak to Mimi. She will introduce you to Sessanta and KDJ. Completing the first set of missions is mandatory before you can purchase and utilize Auto Shop spaces to store your vehicles.
Features
Vehicle Customization
At the LS Car Meet, players can modify their vehicles with a wide range of upgrades, liveries, and other customization options. On the PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and the PC, Hao's Special Works replaces the regular customization shop, expanding functionality with new mods and vehicle conversions.
Hao's Special Works introduces the HSW Performance Upgrade, allowing players to purchase a "conversion" for eligible vehicles. This upgrade enhances the base performance of the vehicle and unlocks exclusive customization options. Players can directly buy exact copies of other members' vehicles through the interaction menu, making it easier than ever to replicate desired builds.
Races and Time Trials
The LS Car Meet includes various race modes such as Sprint, Street Race Series, and Pursuit Series. With Hao's Special Works, additional races and time trials become available exclusively for vehicles that have undergone an HSW Performance Upgrade. These include:
- HSW Races: Enhanced versions of existing Rockstar Land Races requiring HSW-upgraded vehicles.
- HSW Time Trials: Exclusive time trials with adjusted par times based on upgraded vehicle performance.
Players who complete all 8 HSW time trials can unlock a special livery. A featured time trial rotates weekly at the Los Santos Car Meet as part of the weekly GTA Online update.
Test Track
The LS Car Meet features a Test Track where players can try out their vehicles or test performance upgrades in a controlled environment. Hao's Special Works also allows players to test converted vehicles for free before purchase. The test vehicle selection rotates every week.
