If you have been waiting for a good opportunity to rack up some GTA$ for your criminal escapades in the virtual streets of Los Santos, now is the time. Rockstar Games is running a three-week bonus event in Grand Theft Auto Online where players can earn up to GTA$1,500,000 simply by completing Sell Missions. The catch, though, is that not everyone seems to have been invited.

The promotion was discovered after Rockstar sent emails to select players outlining the deal. Each of the three weeks running from February 19 through March 11 offers GTA$500,000, with bonuses deposited into your Maze Bank account within 72 hours of completing a qualifying Sell Mission. The threshold appears to be low, as completing just one Sell Mission per week is reportedly enough to trigger the payout.

Easy money is on the table, as just one Sell Mission per week could net you GTA$500,000.

What makes this one unusual is that Rockstar appears to be running a targeted campaign rather than a blanket event. Some players received the email, while others who are subscribed to Rockstar's mailing list did not. It's still not clear whether the bonus is exclusive to those who received the email or whether any GTA Online player who completes a Sell Mission during the specified weeks will qualify. The hope is this is a staggered rollout, and everyone will get in on it eventually.

It's no coincidence, though, given how it lines up with the recently released Safehouse in the Hills update, which introduced purchasable mansions that don't come cheap. Whether this is a goodwill gesture toward active players or a nudge to get lapsed ones back into the game ahead of GTA 6's expected release later this year, the money is real if you're one of the lucky ones whose inbox has an unread message from Rockstar.
