For one week only, nearly every odd job and passive business in the game is paying out double rewards in a massive bonus event.
Grand Theft Auto Online players will want to scramble and log on this week to make double money on nearly every activity in the game through August 6, as revealed in an official Rockstar Newswire post.
Pizza delivery missions, for example, are suddenly the hottest activity in Los Santos, and you can expect to earn at least twice the normal payout for each delivery. But the double rewards extend far beyond pizza runs.
Medical courier missions, taxi services, and security transport jobs all pay double this week. Even more lucrative is the passive income system, where players who own virtual businesses, including the Nightclub and the Hands on Car Wash, among others, will see their hourly earnings doubled without lifting a finger.
The weekly challenge adds another layer of reward. Completing five medical deliveries nets players an additional $100,000 bonus on top of the doubled mission payouts.
Supplementing the expected influx of virtual cash are vehicle delaerships running significant sales, with sports cars and military vehicles marked down 30-40 percent.

For those on the fence about jumping back into GTA Online, now's as good of a time as any. Logging in for just an hour each evening this week could net you enough virtual cash to buy several high-end vehicles or property upgrades.
But don't worry if you can't immediately play. The promotion runs through August 6. This should give you plenty of opportunity to rake in the money and make like Michael De Santa in Los Santos.

With Grand Theft Auto 6 releasing next year following the not-so-last-minute delay, expect Rockstar Games to continue maintaining player engagement in GTA Online by creating more of these limited-time opportunities to earn virtual currency to keep player bases active in between significant content updates.
It remains unclear when Rockstar will release something significant similar to the Money Fronts update, but datamined evidence suggests that a incoming update will feature zombies taking over Cayo Perico.
While criticized for basically resulting in cancelled DLCs for Grand Theft Auto V, GTA Online is largely the reason for the continued popularity of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, helping the 2013 title land a spot in the best-selling list of PlayStation 5 titles last quarter.
