GTA 5 Random Events Guide

ATM Robberies

Several robberies occur in GTA 5 near the ATMs. These robberies occur when pedestrians are using the ATM. You can chase down the robber and either keep the money for yourself or return the money back to the owner for a smaller cash reward. The robber will be indicated by a blue/red flashing blip on the map which indicates a friend or foe situation. That means you can either help or take the money for yourself as stated earlier.

Note: it is possible for the robberies to occur at the same location again several days later..

1 — Discount Store near Vespucci Canals

2 — Gas Station at Pacific Bluffs

3 — Gas Station at Little Seoul

4 — An Asian Bank at Little Seoul

5 — 24 Hour Parking Lot in Downtown Vinewood

6 — 24/7 Supermarket in Banham Canyon

7 — Fleeca Bank in Banham Canyon

Security Vans

There are several Security Vans located throughout the GTA 5 map. These are randomly triggered and usually have 2 guards transporting some cash in a briefcase to a secured location. However, you can intercept the truck and rob the guards for some easy cash.

You can kill the guards will they are still outside the truck and steal the briefcase OR you can intercept a moving truck, kill the guards and then use sticky bombs to blow open the back double door of the truck to reveal the cash briefcase.

The amount of cash dropped by each Van is random however the range is usually around $4,000 — $7000. Stealing the cash will get you a two star wanted level and you must lose the wanted level in order to successfully complete the random event.

The following is the list of all the Security Van locations in GTA 5. Note: It is possible for the vans to reappear at the same location several in-game days later.

1 — Globe Oil Gas Station in La Puerta

2 — Paleto Bay Market in Paleto Bay

3 — Asian Strip Mall in Little Seoul

4 — Hit 'n' Run Restaurant in Little Seoul

5 — San Chianski Mountain Range Van

6 — Lago Zancudo Van

7 — Cypress Flats Van

8 — Supply Street at La Mesa

Deserted Vehicles

There are some abandoned vehicles in GTA 5 which you can interact with in different ways. There are two isolated vehicle events that have been found so far.

1 — Grand Senora Desert Vehicle

As you approach the vehicle, you will be tased by an unknown attacker. Once tased you will pass out. When you wake up you will be on the railway track without any clothes on and in the way of a moving train. Simply move out of the way in order to successfully finish the event. Your vehicle will still be in its original place where you left it at.

2 — RON Alternates Wind Farm Vehicle

This event is located on top of a hill at RON Alternates Wind Farm. When you drive up the hill, a blue dot will appear indicating a Camper Van. There are two men inside of a van having a "good time". You can stay by the van and listen to their conversation.

As you get closer to the Van, the men will get out in panic and try to attack you. Simply take them out along with the Van in order to successfully finish this random event. It is best to come to this location at evening or night time for it to trigger.

Bicycle Thieves

There are a couple of Bicycle robberies in GTA 5 as well. There are some thieves who steal the bike and drive away. You can be a good samaritan and help the fellow citizens by returning the stolen bike back to them. There are two main locations where these events occur.

1 — Rancho Bicycle Thief

As you approach the marked location there will be a thief speeding off with a stolen bike. Simply kill the thief and bring the bike back to the owner. This particular event holds an importance since the owner of the bike is no ordinary person. After returning the bike, the owner will send an email transferring a stupendous amount of $100,000! He gives it in stock for his company called 'Animal Ark'. Along with that you will also gain +3 stamina stat points!

2 — East Vinewood Bicycle Thief

Simply kill the thief and return the stolen bicycle back to the owner. You will be rewarded with +3 stamina stat points.

Car Thieves

Just like bike thieves, the cars are also not safe in the streets of Los Santos. There are two known locations where the thief steals a car and speeds off. You can kill the thief and return the stolen car back to the owner.

1 — North Chumash Car Thief

This random event occurs in front of Hookies restaurant located in North Chumash. A thief steals a pink peyote Cadillac from a lady. Kill the thief and return the car back to the lady (or you can keep it for yourself, it is up to you). Unfortunately, risking your life and returning the vehicle back to the lady was worth nothing to her, hence no rewards, but you will still get +5 driving kill points!

2 — Autopia Parkway Car Thief

This event occurs near Los Santos International Airport. A thief steals a dark colored Obey Rocoto SUV from a woman. Kill the thief and return the vehicle back to the owner (yet again, you can also keep the vehicle for yourself).

You will not receive any cash reward for the completion of this event. However, the owner of the car will send you an email after a few in-game days rewarding you with a Pale Blue Suit. At least she was grateful and appreciative of your efforts unlike the Pink Cadillac Lady. You will also get +5 driving skill points.

Drunk People Chauffeur

During your play through, you will come across some pedestrians who are extremely drunk to drive back home. As usual, you can be a good caring citizen and help them out. There are 2 known drunk people events that you will encounter which are as follows.

1 — Drunk Guy at La Puerta Restaurant

You will encounter this random event at Goma Street in La Puerta, at the La Spada Seafood restaurant. You will notice two friends having an argument while they are drunk. One of the friend is concerned for his buddy's well-being and doesn't allow him to drive back home, so the guy asks you to drive him back home. You can drive the guy home for $80 reward in return.

When you drop the friend at home, you can wait around and notice that before he goes for his door, he passes out by the door. He may or may not drop some extra cash which you can take.

2 — Drunk Couple at Sandy Shores

You will come across a drunk couple right outside a bar located in Sandy Shores. They will ask you to give them a ride back to their motel in their own car. On your way to their motel, the couple will start to have a good time in the back seat of the car. Once you drop the couple back to their motel, you walk away with $40 cash.

Giving People a Ride

Just like the drunk couple, there are sober people in the game as well who will ask for a ride to certain locations. The following are the people and where you can find them. These will appear randomly as well.

1 — Timm The Equity Broker

You will find Timm in Chumash area by the Great Highway in Baham Canyon area. His car will be broken down and he will ask you to drop him to Los Santos International Airport. If you drop him fast enough before the timer runs out, he will give you a tip of $100 along with a hint about Tinkle stocks. You will also get +5 driving skill points. He asks you to invest in Tinkle Stocks. His exacts words are "Invest in Tinkle, now! You won't regret it!"

If you listen to him and invest in the Tinkle stocks in BAWSAQ website and wait for around 20-24 in-game hours, you will have a return percentage of 33%. Thanks Timm!

2 — The Runaway Bride

As you are driving by the Zancudo River area by the Zancudo Fort. You will come across a Church. As you drive by the church you will notice a bride running towards your car asking for your help to drop her off at her house in Vinewood Hills. As you are driving away her now ex-Groom will come ramming into your car. Stop the car and take out the Groom and continue towards the bride's house. You do not get any reward for this except +5 driving skill points.

3 — Hitchhiking Girl

As you are driving by the Junction of East Joshua Road and Route 1 in San Chianski Mountain Range in Sandy Shores area, you will come across a young woman who asks for a ride to Mount Haan Drive located in Vinewood Hills.

As you reach the location and drop her at the location, her jealous boyfriend, who is a security guard, comes fighting you. Simply knock him out in order to finish this random event successfully. You will receive +5 driving skill points.

It is suggested to carry out the mission using Franklin, as using Michael or Trevor will cause Martin Madrazo's men in the area to attack them and spook away the girl resulting in failure of the event completion.

4 — Ursula (Psychotic Hitchhiking Girl)

Yep, as the title suggests, she is a psychotic hitchhiking girl. This is a random encounter where you come across a girl at the dirt road intersection at Mount Chilliad and Grapeseed. She asks for a ride back home.

As you are driving her back home, you can listen to her conversation. her conversation will explain why she is being called a 'Psychotic' hitchhiking girl. After you drop her off, her contact will be saved in your phone as 'Ursula'. She will be added as a 'Booty Call' in your contacts list. You will also get +5 driving skill points.

Lost Motorcycle Club (MC) Robberies

Trevor's nemesis club is not only having issues with him alone, but with the whole of Los Santos. Through your game play you will encounter several robberies in action by the Lost MC members. You can intercept them after the robbery and either return the stolen cash or keep it for yourself. They will appear as the blue/red flashing blip on the minimap indicating friend or foe situation.

1 — Lost MC Robbery in Hawick

As you drive by the barber shop you will notice some Lost MC members robbing a man in front of a suburban clothing store and speeding away in a black Lost MC van. Shoot them down and eliminate all of them. Collect the wallet and either return it for a $200 tip in return along with a full special meter or keep the money for yourself and walk away with a decent $2,000.

2 — Lost MC Robbery in Grand Senora Desert

When you drive by the Discount Store located in Grand Senora Desert, you will notice a couple of Lost MC members robbing away a man of his wallet. Simply kill the members and either return the wallet back to the man for a small tip of $12 along with a full special meter or keep the whole amount for yourself, which contains a decent $120.

3 — Lost MC Robbery in Textile City

This event occurs only after Trevor arrives in Los Santos, it cannot be triggered before that. You will notice two Lost MC members on a bike robbing a man and driving away. Simply ram into them and kill them using your gun, then collect the money. As always, either you can return the wallet for a small $50 reward along with a full special meter or keep it for yourself with the whole $500.

4 — Lost MC Robbery in Grapeseed

The robbery event triggers in front of a Discount Clothing Store located in Grapeseed. A couple of Lost MC Members rob a man and drive away in their signature Lost MC members van. Kill them and then either keep the wallet for yourself, walking away with $250, or return the wallet back to the owner for a small $25 tip along with a full special meter for your heroic efforts.

Muggings

When you're cruising the streets of Los Santos in GTA 5 you will come across many events, among which includes people getting mugged by thugs. You can either kill the robbers and return the wallet back to the owner or keep the money for yourself. if you're fast enough you might have to chase the robbers in the first place, as they are holding the victim at gun point you can quickly either gun them down or ram your car into them.

1 — Alta Mugging

This mugging event occurs in Alta in an alleyway. A woman is about to get robbed and you need to prevent that from happening. You can either drive the car into the mugger or simply gun him down. You get no reward for this heroic effort of yours.

2 — Chamberlain Hills Mugging

This mugging occurs in a parking lot in Chamberlain Hills near Franklin's old house. A man is being robbed, kill the mugger and either keep the $200 for yourself or return it to the owner in exchange for a $20 tip.

3 — Pillbox Hills Mugging

This mugging occurs in Pillbox Hills next to some ATMs edged into a Quik House building wall, a woman is being robbed by a man. Ram your car into this guy and kill him. You can either return a hefty $2,000 cash back to the woman in return for a decent $200 tip or you can keep the whole amount for yourself.

Police Arrest Encounters

During your game play you will randomly encounter police officers arresting various criminals. There are two recorded incidents which are confirmed in the game. You can either help the criminal escape in return for some reward or you can help police officer arrest the criminal by either tasing him with a stun gun or knocking him out.

By helping the police officer you will not receive any reward. Meanwhile helping the criminal will reward you (plus a 3 star wanted level).

1 — Davis Quartz Arrest

This arrest event occurs in Davis Quartz in the Grand Quartz area beside a Quarry. The arrest is happening on the side of the road where a police officer is chasing down a criminal up a little green hill. You can either help the criminal escape or help the police officer arrest the criminal. If you kill the cop and help the criminal, he will reward you with $250 and you will have 3 star wanted level on you. However, if you decide to kill the criminal and help the cop, then the cop will be thankful for the help but nothing more.

2 — Grapeseed Arrest

This arrest event occurs in Grapeseed near the O'Neil brothers farm, which Trevor burns in the story line. Once you arrive at the marked location the event triggers and you will see a cop chasing a criminal over the farmlands. Now it is up to you to either help the criminal escape or help the cop in his arrest.

Helping the cop will get you nothing except gratitude from the cop. However, if you help the criminal, you will be rewarded with $250 cash along with 3 star wanted level.

Prisoner Rescues

There are two random instances where prison escapees ask for your help. They ask you to drop them off to a location. It is up to you to either help them or ditch them (sometimes ditching is critical for your own safety, you'll see why).

1 — Lost MC member prisoner rescue

This random event occurs as you are driving along a dirt road by a farm in Grand Senora Desert area near Bolingbroke Penitentiary. You will notice that a prisoner is calling you for help. You will also notice a police car that has broken down and wrecked into a tree, indicating a rough altercation.

The prisoner will ask you to drop him to a Lost MC club house nearby. As you are taking him to his destination, you will get 2 star wanted level. Get rid of the wanted level and then continue to the location. After dropping him, you do not get any reward in return except +3 driving skill points.

A tip on losing the wanted level quickly. When you see the 2 stars pop up, simply drive into a grassy area and hide inside any one of the bush patches. This is more effective if you are on a motorcycle as it will be completely hidden inside the bush.

2 — Rogue Prisoner

Remember how we stated that sometimes ignoring the prisoner and not helping them is a good thing? Well, this is that instance. You will encounter another prisoner on the same dirt road in Grand Senora Desert, near the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, coming out of a bush and asking for a lift. As you stop the car to help him, he will hold you on gunpoint and ask you to leave your vehicle.

In order to avoid getting killed make sure you go to the marked location in a vehicle which you do not value a lot. Rig it with sticky bombs and then once the prisoner stops you, let him take the vehicle and as he drives away simply blow up the car. If you're fast enough you can just get out of the vehicle and quickly shoot him down with a rifle, or use a grenade launcher to destroy the vehicle if you do not care about it!

Racist Redneck Encounters

There are several racist rednecks in the remote areas of GTA 5 such as Grand Senora Desert, Tataviam Mountains and Raton Canyon. As you pass by some locations around these areas, you will encounter some rednecks on their dirt bikes trying to kill you. You need to kill them in order to successfully complete the random event. After you're done killing them you can collect the ammo and some cash that they drop. There are three confirmed locations of these instances occurring.

1 — Grand Senora Desert Encounter

As you go to the northern part of the Vinewood sign, in the mountains of Grand Senora Desert you will come across three rednecks on their dirt bikes trying to kill you. They will be making racists call outs. They are quite strong so make sure you have enough firepower to take them down. They do not fall off their bikes easily either.

2 — Raton Canyon Encounter

This event occurs in Raton Canyon. As you are driving on the dirt road, three rednecks on their dirt bikes and quad bike will jump you trying to kill you. Kill them all in order to complete the event successfully. But be careful when dealing with them as they also hold powerful weapons such as shotgun and they can instantly kill you as well.

3 — Tataviam Mountains Encounter

This event occurs in the Tataviam Mountains on the dirt road which is accessed right after the reservoir. As usual there will be three rednecks trying to kill you, simply kill them all to successfully complete the random event.

Shop Robberies

There are two special robbery random events which occur in GTA 5. One occurs in the Bob Mulet Barbershop while the other in a Suburban Clothing Store.

Please note that these events do not appear on the map as a blue dot indicating their trigger. It is randomly triggered once you enter the shop. You can also tell whether the event is going to occur or not by looking inside the shop from outside, you will notice the shop keeper will be on the floor held at gunpoint.

1 — Bob Mulet Barbershop Robbery

The barbershop is located in the northern part of Los Santos in the Rockford Hills District. As you enter the shop, you will notice two men will be holding the store keeper at gunpoint. One will then point the gun at you and ask you to get on your knees. While you are on your knees, the thugs will leave the shop and go to their vehicle. Quickly get out and destroy the vehicle and kill them.

You can either return the stolen cash back to the store keeper or keep it for yourself. The cash amount is $2,000.

2 — Suburban Clothing Store Robbery

This random event occurs in the Suburban Clothing Store located in Del Perro District in the western part of Los Santos. Once you enter the shop, you will see two robbers holding the cashier at gunpoint. As soon as they are done, they run out and in separate directions. Just identify the one who is holding the cash bag consisting of $2,000.

Kill him and retrieve the bag. You can either return it back to the shop or keep it for yourself. If you return it back then you will have a 25% discount at Suburban Clothing Store on your next purchase.

Mugging by Luring

There are some random events where a girl is calling you for help with something. Instead, when you follow them to help them out by being a good Samaritan, they turn on you and help other people rob you. There are two confirmed recorded instances where such mugging occurs.

1 - Alley Lure Mugging

This random event occurs next to the Ammu-Nation located in La Mesa. When you are in the vicinity, you will see a blue dot appear in the minimap with a woman calling for your help.

When you go into the alleyway beside the ammu-nation, the woman will go upstairs and as you follow her upstairs, she and her male partner will come out with their guns and hold you at gun point trying to rob you. If you don't do anything, they will rob you and run away. But if you take your gun out while you are held at gunpoint they will start shooting you. So make sure you are quick with your decision.

If you take the gun out while following the woman, they will not attack you and instead they will flee noticing the gun in your hand. After you kill them, you can pick up the ammo form them.

2 — El Burro Heights Gang Jump

As you are driving down El Burro Heights, you will notice a lady waving her hand towards you asking for help. When you follow her, she will take you to the backyard of a house where you are ambushed by some gang members. Take the gang members out and you can score some easy cash and ammo for weapons.

You can leave the woman alone (or don't) because she was simply intimidated by the gang members and was not part of the gang.

Construction Site Incident

This random event occurs at the construction site located in Little Seoul. As you get closer to the construction site, you will notice a blue dot on the map. As you walk further towards the blue dot at the construction site a cut scene starts where you will witness some heavy metal pipes fall on top of a truck at the site. As a result, the driver of the truck gets stuck inside. The driver will ask you to help him out.

As you move closer to the stuck driver after the cut scene, you will be directed to use the bulldozer to move the pipes out of the way so that the driver can get out. The easiest and quickest way to go about this is to simply use the bulldozer to push the left side of the pipes. After you push the pipes away, you better run away from the truck as fast as you can since the truck will explode. You will be rewarded with +2 driving skill points for your valiant act!

Domestic Disturbance

As you drive through Wild Oats Drive located in Vinewood Hill near Franklin's new house, you will notice a couple arguing right outside one of the houses. The girlfriend is up on the balcony throwing everything down at her boyfriend. When she is done throwing the stuff she goes back inside the house and you can hear her crying. The boyfriend's name is Castro Lagano, who is a golfer. He asks you to drop him off at the Golf Club.

As you are driving towards the Golf Club he will tell you the whole story as to why they were in an argument. it turns out he cheated. Anyway, after you drop him to the golf club you will be rewarded with $80 and Castro as your new golfing partner.

Gang Altercation at Grand Senora Desert

When you are driving near the old liquor store which is located in front of the 24/7 Supermarket in Grand Senora Desert by Alamo Sea, you will see a blue dot along with red dots appear on your minimap. As you get closer, you will see two Lost MC members holding a guy at gunpoint. Simply kill both the bikers and then follow the guy to his car. As you follow some more bikers will show up to fight you, so make sure you are prepared and ready to gun them all down.

After you are done killing them all, the guy will drive away after rewarding you with a handsome $1,000!

Eastern Motel Robbery

As you drive down the road at Harmony you will notice some cop cars in distance and a blue/red flashing dot on your minimap indicating the robbers. There are a total of two robbers who are in a gunfight with a two cops in front of Eastern Motel. You can either help the robbers eliminate the police officers OR you can kill the robbers and get the evidence that they are holding for yourself.

If you decide to kill the robbers, make sure you go behind them and then gun them down. After you kill the two robbers, you can either leave the scene or quickly get the briefcase and get away from the scene before the cops see you. If you manage to get the evidence briefcase without the cops seeing you, you will walk away with a hefty $10,000 ($5,000 per criminal) and no wanted level. However, if they see you, then you will get a 2 star wanted level.

Taliana Martinez Rescue

This event is located on Great Ocean Highway, near Mount Chiliad where the intersection is. As you approach the location, you will see a woman named Taliana Martinez badly injured and asking for your help. She was the only survivor of a robbery she and her crew carried out. She was the getaway driver but unfortunately things went bad and she crashed the car resulting in her crew member dying.

She will ask you to drop her off at her house. Make sure you drive carefully but not slow. Because if you take too long to drop her off at her house, she will die of blood loss. Upon successfully dropping her at her house, she will be added as a new heist member as a Driver for future heists.

Drug Deal Massacre

This event is located near the western side of Mount Chiliad by the Great Ocean Highway. As you approach new the area, you will see fatally wounded gang members who appear to have been involved in a heavy gunfight. You can kill them.

As you move forward down the hill, you will find another player who is fatally wounded and beside him is a briefcase which holds $25,000. You can kill the member and then take the briefcase and leave. As you leave on the highway, some gang members will follow you and try to kill you. Simply kill them all in order to successfully complete the event.

If you leave the area on foot, then the gang members will not chase you down.

Patrick "Packie" McReary

You come across Packie McReary from GTA IV in the world of GTA 5 as well. You encounter him in the very early stages of game play. You will find a random event where Packie and a friend of his are holding a drug store owner at gunpoint and are looking for a way to escape.

They have just robbed the drug store which is located at Strawberry Avenue. This is where you come in and help them by being their getaway driver. As you get a vehicle to help them out, you will then be faced with a 2 star wanted level. Evade the cops and then drop Packie and his friend to their desired destination. As you are driving Packie to his location, he will tell you about his story back in Liberty City (events from GTA IV)

After you drop them at their location, you will be able to choose as a heist crew member in your future heists. He has the highest gunman skill in the game and hence takes 12% of the heist take.

Important: Please note that in order to trigger this event you need to do the first strangers and freaks mission by Franklin, which pops up in front of his old garage house — it's the Tonya mission where you have to complete a tow truck job. After that come to the location and you should be able to trigger the mission.

Paparazzi Escape

As you drive by Vinewood Boulevard in the Downtown Vinewood area, you will come across a female celebrity who will be hiding in an alleyway trying to avoid all the paparazzi surrounding her. As you approach her she will ask you to drop her to her house and help escape the paparazzi.

You will need to drop her in her own car. Her house is located in Vinewood Hills. As you are driving her off to her house, she reveals her name to be Lacey Jonas. You will need to evade the chasing paparazzi and then take her to her house.

After you drop her she will reward you with $750.

Girl Burial

As you drive on a dirt road in the northern area of Paleto Bay, you will trigger an event where you will notice two men about to bury a lady alive. You simply need to kill both the men and then approach the lady to untie her. She will ask you to then drop her off to a certain location.

As you are driving her to her stated destination, more men will chase you and try to kill you both. Simply kill them all and the continue off to her destination. When you reach the destination, she will be picked up by her trusted driver and drive off.

After a few minutes, she will call you again and reward you with a tidy $60,000!

Rogue Altruists

This event occurs near Great Chaparral just by Baytree Canyon Road located in Grand Senora Desert. As you approach the marked location. You will notice two Altruist Cult members tying up a girl and about to assault her. You can jump in and help the girl, after which she will request you to drop her off at her house.

Once you drop her off, she will reward you with a decent $80 tip for the trouble.

Snatched

This random event occurs in the upper part of Vinewood Hills in South Mo Milton Drive. As you are driving in the area, you will notice some Lost MC members are kidnapping a girl. Once the girl is inside the van and as it is driving away, simply shoot the van in order for it to stop and then kill the rest of the members and help the girl.

She will ask you to drop her off at her beach house in Chumash. As you are driving on to the destination, some more bikers will come and try to kill you. Eliminate them all and continue towards the beach house.

Once you reach the destination, drop her off and she will reward you with nothing, unfortunately!

Sports Bike Thief

This random event occurs in North Rockford Drive in Richman. As you are driving in this area, you will see a thief speeding away on a sports bike after stealing it. You can simply go ahead and ram into him so that he falls off of the bike and is killed. Now you can either return the bike for +5 driving skill points or you can keep the Bati 801 sports bike for yourself.

Vinewood Bus Tour

Although, this is considered as a random event, it can be seen even if not in the vicinity. You can identify this event through a unique bus tour icon on the map. Check the legend on the map as well in order to identify it, it is called 'Vinewood Tours'.

This tour bus is located on Alta Street in Downtown Vinewood. You have to pay a small fee of $40 in order to attend the tour. The tour will take you through several landmarks and the guide will explain their significance one by one. You can also skip through to the next landmark and listen to the guide talking about it.

Please note that this random event only occurs during daytime and it can be repeated as many times as possible, unlike other random events which are only available once. There is no particular reward for this except a beautiful but eventually boring guide of the city.

Stag Do Running Man

This random event is located beside Zancudo River on Route 68, just further up after you pass the Ammu-Nation and a Clothing Store.

You will notice a man tied up to an electric pole without any clothes on, except his undergarments, with random markings and graffiti on his body. When you approach the man, he will ask for your help.

Untie him and then he will ask you to drop him to his wedding. But, there are a couple of locations you need to head to first. First you need to take him to his house in Rockford Hill so that he can get dressed up and pick up his car which is a White Enus Super Diamond.

Then you need to drive him to the Hookie's bar which is located near Chumash in order to pick up his best man. Then you will drive him to the wedding venue located in Paleto Bay. Please note that you need to do all this in 5 hours in-game time. This is equivalent to 10 minutes in real life.

After you drop him off to his wedding, you will be rewarded with the White Enus Super Diamond vehicle!

Weed Stash

It is located at the east of Mount Chiliad, north of Grapeseed at the end of a dirt road. At the end of the dirt road is a Weed Farm. This event is a unique event hence the reason it doesn't appear on the map as a blue dot, but as a 'Marijuana' plant icon.

When you enter the farm, the drug dealers will ask you to leave, if you resist they will start shooting at you. Kill them all and then enter the shed in order to collect the cash. This is their earnings from selling the weed. As a bonus you will also find a space ship part in the shed. This event has specific requirements which you need to meet in order for it to trigger.

The requirements are as follows:

• You can only trigger this event as the protagonist TREVOR.
• This event can only be triggered during DAYTIME.
• It is only available on TUESDAYS.
• You must enter the dirt road from the entrance area where the sign says 'Braddock Farms' in the beginning of the dirt road. If you take any shortcuts the event won't trigger.
• You can wait for a week in-game and come back next Tuesday to collect the cash again.

The collected cash varies every time. It can either be as little as $1,000 or it can go as high as $70,000. We were able to collect up to $50,000!

Simeon Yetarian Random Event

This event occurs inside of Premium Deluxe Motorsports car dealership located in Strawberry, beside the Ammu-Nation. Te event has sensitive timings and requirements for it to be triggered.

It is only a limited time event, so if you're not careful enough about the timings, you will not be able to trigger the event again. As you enter the car dealership, Simeon will see you and send some of his thugs to kill you. Simeon himself will run away. Kill the goons and collect their ammo and some cash in order to finish the random event. As the event is also a unique event, it will not appear on the mini map as a blue/red flashing dot. In order to trigger the event, you need to manually enter the dealership. However, in order to ensure that the event triggers, the following requirements must be met:

• The event can only be played by the protagonists Franklin or Michael.
• It is only available after you complete Father/Son mission.
• The mission Friend Request must be completed in order for it to trigger.
• The mission cannot be started after your first Jewel Store Heist. So the timing for this event trigger is After Friend Request mission but before Jewel Store Heist.

There are no specific rewards for the completion of this random event, however, you do walk away with some cash and ammo from killing those thugs.

Altruists Victims

If you are playing the game as Trevor and come across any one of the random events which involves dropping them off to a certain location, you can instead take them to the Altruists camp located in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness in return for money.

After you deliver four victims to the altruist cult members, they will kidnap you and then try to sacrifice you in a ritual as well.

After they take you inside their camp, a cut scene will appear. After the cut scene ends, kill all of the cult members for successfully completing this random event. You will also come across four briefcases spread around the camp, each containing $25,000 and totaling up to a whopping $100,000! So do not forget to grab them while you're at it because they only spawn once.

Along with the cash there is also an RPG located in the camp, which keeps re-spawning after a while from first collecting it. This is a good way of obtaining an RPG early in the game since it is not unlocked for a while.

Duel

This random event appears near the motel located by the gas station in Grand Senora Desert. As you're driving past the station you will notice a blue dot appearing on the minimap, indicating the Duke O'Death car.

You will see the car parked near a gas station. In order to start this event, enter the car and drive off. You will notice some freighter trucks block you off half way through as you drive away. Quickly get out of the car and kill both the truck drivers. And then drive off in your Duke O'Death to complete the event successfully.

Successful completion of this random event will not only reward you with Duke O'Death car but the Duke O'Death will also spawn in two locations as a reward. One will be found in El Burro Heights and the other in Grand Senora Desert.

Note that the car will only spawn for players with the PC, Xbox One or PS4 version of the game. If you have the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game, the event will not trigger.

Also, this random event can only be triggered if you've completed the Pulling Favors mission.

Dodo Sea Plane

This random event occurs in the cave located in the cove, east of Ron Alternates Wind Farm. When you get closer to the area you will notice a blue dot on the minimap, along with some red ones indicating hostile men on speedboats.

Kill the men and get inside the plane and fly away. When you're flying away some more men will appear, trying to take you down. However, no need to worry yourself with them, simply keep flying away for them to disappear and the random event should be completed. You can then walk away with a Dodo Sea Plane.

After you complete this random event the dodo sea plane will start appearing in two locations as a reward. One dodo sea plane will be spawned at a lake located in Vinewood Hills and the other plane will be spawned at Galilee near Alamo Sea where Franklin's house is.

Just like the Duke O'Death you will be able to spawn the Sea Plane through a cheat code as well.

This random event can only be triggered if you've completed the Nervous Ron mission first.

Monkey Mosaic

This is an interesting random event which is possible to trigger only after you've successfully collected all 50 Monkey Mosaics located throughout Los Santos.

After you've collected these Monkey Mosaics, you will also need to purchase at least two out of the three custom garages available in the game.

In this even, a space monkey street artist will appear in an alley behind Los Santos Customs located in Rockford Hills around Burton area. As you approach the area a blue dot will appear, indicating the presence of the space monkey street artist.

Make sure to find a good spot to take a picture of the street artist without being detected while he is spraying on a wall. If you are detected, then the street artist will run away and you won't be able to complete this random event.

A good location to take the picture is from the parking garage just north of the spot where the street artist is spraying. Just take the picture and save it in order to complete the random event.

After you've completed this event, a few moments later, you will receive a message from Space Monkey rewarding you with a Go Go Monkey Blista in one of your garages.

Note that the car will only spawn for players having the Xbox One, PC or PS4 versions of the game. If you have an old version of the game, the event will not trigger.

Please also make sure you've collected all the 50 Monkey Mosaic for this event to occur. Also, if you buy all three custom garages, then the chances of this event happening increase.
