Los Santos Customs

Los Santos Customs is a vehicle repair and modification business in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Its workshops repair body damage and provide resprays, wheels, armor, performance upgrades and other modifications.¹

Four Los Santos Customs workshops operate across southern San Andreas:

• Burton, Carcer Way, Los Santos
• La Mesa, Popular Street, Los Santos
• Los Santos International Airport, Greenwich Parkway, Los Santos
• Harmony, Route 68, Blaine County

After Nervous Ron, Franklin Clinton can buy the Harmony branch in Story Mode for GTA$349,000. It then pays GTA$1,600 in weekly income and gives Franklin free modifications at that location.

History

Los Santos Customs fills the repair-and-respray role previously held by Pay 'n' Spray across earlier Grand Theft Auto games and follows the broader vehicle-customization model introduced by TransFender in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Rockstar also used Los Santos Customs as the vehicle-customization component of the original iFruit companion app for GTA V.²

GTA V and GTA Online

In Story Mode, all four workshops provide repairs and customization. A respray can also remove a wanted level when police do not see the vehicle enter the shop. Franklin may own the Harmony branch; the other locations remain service businesses.

In GTA Online, Los Santos Customs adds Loss/Theft Prevention for eligible street vehicles and allows players to sell many owned or stolen cars. Purchased Personal Vehicles include insurance, while street vehicles need a tracker and insurance before they receive the same protection.³

Some emergency, Pegasus and high-value street vehicles cannot be modified or sold there. Rockstar's current vehicle guide and support pages provide the authoritative eligibility rules, which have changed over the life of GTA Online.⁴

Los Santos Customs itself cannot be purchased as a player business in GTA Online.
