GTA Online's Bottom Dollar Bounties update is hiding more than just new missions as fans uncover clever nods to Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rockstar Games is known for hiding Easter Eggs in their games, and the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties update for Grand Theft Auto Online is no exception.
Just a month after its release, fans have discovered a clever nod to Red Dead Redemption 2 within the update's new content. The Most Wanted daily mission, a revamped version of a scrapped feature originally planned for the story mode of Grand Theft Auto 5, has caught the attention of eagle-eyed players.
As noted by @videotechuk on X, one particular sequence in the mission bears a striking resemblance to a scene from the "Blessed are the Peacemakers" mission in RDR2.

In both instances, the protagonist wakes up half-naked in a basement after being knocked unconscious. For GTA Online players, this occurs while searching for Leroy O'Neil, while in RDR2, Arthur finds himself in this predicament after overseeing a meeting between Colm O'Driscoll and Dutch Van Der Linde.
This Easter Egg is just one of many references found in the Bottom Dollar Bounties Update, which also includes nods to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar's decision to include this familiar scene is a clever way to engage fans of both the GTA and Red Dead franchises.
As Rockstar shifts its focus to the development of GTA 6, the Red Dead series has taken a backseat. However, the company recently made the Red Dead Redemption Re-Release available to GTA+ subscribers, with speculation pointing towards a PC release later this year.
