As the calendar flips to November, Grand Theft Auto Online is transitioning from the ghoulish glee of Halloween to the vibrant celebration of the Day of the Dead, known as Día de Muertos in Mexico.

This year, Rockstar Games has decided to honor the tradition in its November 2 update, infusing the virtual streets of Los Santos with a festive spirit that honors the dearly departed.

The weekly update arrives just in time for the Day of the Dead, celebrated on November 1-2, and it brings with it a wide array of free gifts and lucrative discounts, such as:

2X GTA$ and RP rewards from Short Trips

Players logging in during the week can adorn their characters with three special Day of the Dead decorative skull masks, each intricately designed to capture the essence of the holiday. Additionally, an orange DJ Pooh t-shirt is up for grabs, featuring hauntingly captivating Garfield-style eyes.

The Yuletide season is about to hit GTA Online but before that, Rockstar Games is celebrating the Day of the Dead first.
