As the spooky season descends upon Los Santos, Rockstar Games has unleashed a terrifying array of Halloween-themed content in Grand Theft Auto Online.
From October 10 to 16, players can immerse themselves in a world of zombies, ghosts, and extraterrestrial encounters, all while earning exclusive rewards and participating in community challenges.
As previously confirmed, the main attraction for this year's Halloween update is the return to North Yankton, a place that Grand Theft Auto 5 players are all too familiar with. Unfortunately, every player's first time revisiting North Yankton isn't to celebrate. Instead, players will face off against hordes of the undead in the new Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode.
In this heart-pounding survival mode, players must fend off the waves of zombies, hulking juggernauts, and even possessed wildlife. The stakes are high, as surviving through three waves will net you a limited edition Gray Creepy Cat Mask and a hefty bonus of GTA$100,000 as part of the Weekly Challenge. For your efforts, all participants will enjoy double GTA$ and RP rewards through October 23, making it the perfect opportunity to embrace the Halloween spirit and make money.
GTA+ members have an extra incentive to brave the undead onslaught, as they'll receive the exclusive Mummy Outfit within 72 hours of participating in the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode.
But that's not all. Rockstar has issued a spine-tingling challenge to the entire GTA Online community: collectively eliminate 80 million zombies in the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode. If accomplished, this will unlock two exclusive rewards for everyone: the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and the Red Hooded Skull Mask. Players can track the community's progress on the official GTA Online website, adding an extra layer of excitement as everyone works together towards this ghastly goal.
