The fallout between Shawn Fonteno and Kai Cenat is apparently already over. A day after the Grand Theft Auto V actor said he would never stream with the Twitch star again over an unfulfilled promise to a young fan, Fonteno said the two have squared it away.
The clarification came on September 16, the same day his original podcast comments were spreading across outlets. Responding to a clip of the episode on Instagram, Fonteno said he had spoken with Cenat and come away satisfied. "I just talked to Kai and it was an honest mistake and it's fixed," he wrote, tagging Cenat and thanking him.
However, it's worth noting that Kai Cenat has not publicly addressed the claims nor has he released a statement since the entire situation became public.

In his Instagram comment, Fonteno framed the whole thing as a misunderstanding rather than a grudge. He had spent a chunk of the podcast airing his frustration, saying he would never work with Cenat again and taking a wider shot at streamers who do not follow through.
A private conversation, it seems, was all it took to settle it. Fonteno remains one of the most active faces of the series, from Grand Theft Auto Online and the same episode also touched on Grand Theft Auto VI.
