The most hated mission in GTA 5 has one of the game's protagonists raging years later.

Rockstar Games' track record speaks for itself. Every mission in every Grand Theft Auto game is a masterclass in video game design, and most of their decisions are beloved. But that doesn't mean that everything they put in the game has received praise.

Take, for example, the infamous "Did Somebody Say Yoga?" mission involving Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto V.

It's considered by many as one of the worst missions in any GTA game ever. So much so that even Ned Luke, the actor behind the lifelong criminal, agrees.

In a post on X, Luke said that the mission was "Hands down the worst to shoot. Sweated my ass off for 8 hours. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

For those who've forgotten about this mission or, for some reason, haven't played_GTA V_yet, the mission in question involves Michael participating in a yoga session.

Yes, you read that correctly. In a game known for high-speed chases, elaborate heists, and explosive shootouts, Rockstar had players helping a middle-aged criminal perfect his downward dog pose.

The mechanics of the mission are deceptively simple yet infuriatingly tedious. It's essentially a glorified quick-time event that feels completely out of place.

What makes this mission particularly egregious is its mandatory nature. While yoga eventually becomes optional side content, this initial session is required to progress through the main storyline.

Given that these hated missions seem like a staple for_GTA_, we'd best expect that fans will find one to hate on once_Grand Theft Auto 6_comes out on May 26, 2026.

Ned Luke is one of the more active personalities directly linked to_GTA_. He's previously refused to confirm if he's returning to play Michael again in_Grand Theft Auto Online, but he, alongside the other_GTA V protagonists, are hoping they'll get a chance to reunite in GTA 6.
