Rockstar Games has opened an official Grand Theft Auto VI merch Collection at its store, a spread of apparel and collectibles timed to the final stretch before launch. Unlike the $400 box criticized for its price and its missing game, this one is à la carte, a rack of individual tees, hats and trinkets you can pick from one piece at a time.

Apparel and collectibles run from $4.99 to $39.99, with free shipping on orders over about $74.99.

The standout is the apparel that lets you dress like the leads. The Macca the Gator tees are billed as Goodtime State gear, modeled on the styles Jason and Lucia wear in the game's Ultimate Edition art and built around "Macca the Gator," a hit TV show inside Leonida. It is a neat bit of in-universe fashion, wearing what the characters wear, down to the fictional cartoon they would have grown up on. Meanwhile, the collectibles go hard on Vice City nostalgia. The money clip and a chrome Zippo lighter both carry the classic Vice City logo, aimed squarely at the collector who wants a tactile piece of Vice City on the keyring or in the pocket, carrying it everywhere they go and not as another shirt filed away in their drawer.

There's also the wishlist feature. Rockstar is letting shoppers save items and get restock and sale alerts, with much more promised for the Collection. There's likely demand for these types of items among Grand Theft Auto fans this early on.

For buyers, one of the first video games to retail for $80 continues to become more expensive. Between this Collection, the separate $400 box and the two digital-only editions themselves, the total cost of everything Rockstar is selling around GTA 6 is growing and the Rockstar Store just added more to the pile.

If it's any consolation, the pricing keeps the collection somewhat accessible. The tees and caps are $29.99 each and the totes $39.99, while the collectibles range from a $14.99 keychain up to the $39.99 Zippo, with sticker sets as low as $4.99 and free shipping once an order clears about $74.99. The store also lists Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on CD for $19.98 and vinyl for $49.98. It still adds up if you want the whole set, but just like with how Rockstar is approaching the relationship dynamic between Jason and Lucia, you have a choice.

So if you want to wear Vice City before you can play it, the official Collection is open, with more on the way before GTA 6 arrives on November 19.
