Every CyberLeek drop sends the same question around the internet and the latest one is the bluntest yett. Does Grand Theft Auto VI let you walk around completely naked throughout Vice City and Leonida? The honest answer is that nobody outside Rockstar Games knows yet. The nude footage of Lucia making the rounds right now and talks of a fully nude Jason is a very different thing from a confirmed feature in the game you will buy on November 19. Instead, these are part of two claims spreading at once, often mistaken for having come from the same build.

One camp full nudity in GTA 6 is now confirmed. The other says IGN already debunked the leak as fake. Neither holds up. The footage appears to be real in the sense that it shows some version of the game, with signs pointing to a development build. Everything else remains unconfirmed.

You see, IGN's Rachel Weber wrote a piece with a deadpan headline about not having seen Jason's genitals and readers ran with it as a takedown of the leak. However, she described only her own July hands-on preview, where the single naked moment she saw was a shower scene the camera kept modest. She stated plainly that we do not know how much of what CyberLeek shared will reach the final game. It does not rule the leaked clips fake and it does not confirm them.

The clips themselves point toward an answer. In the leaked video a naked Lucia walks around Leonida and talks to people, none of the NPCs react to her. A world Rockstar has built around characters who notice you and respond to what you do would not shrug someone with no clothes on, let alone a potentially wanted fugitive and a woman at that.

For what it's worth, the age ratings already tell us GTA 6 earns its adult classification. The ratings summaries flag sex scenes and strong sexual content next to the usual violence and drugs, make this the most sexually explicit Grand Theft Auto yet. So, yes, mature sexual content is coming. Walk-anywhere full-frontal nudity as a retail feature is still unclear.

What the GTA 6 nudity claims get right and wrong

The claim
What holds up
You can walk around fully nude in the retail GTA 6
Seen only in leaked footage with dev-build tells, never confirmed by Rockstar
IGN confirmed Jason's full nudity
Its writer said the opposite, she did not see it in her preview
IGN debunked the leak as fake
She spoke only to her own preview, not the clip's origin
The clip is ordinary gameplay

NPCs ignore a nude Lucia and it shows a first-person mode reported as not launching, pointing to a dev build

Nudity would be a GTA first
Full-frontal male nudity already appeared in The Lost and Damned in 2009

The viral takes overshoot the available evidence.

Nudity itself would not break new ground for the series either. Grand Theft Auto IV put full-frontal male nudity on screen back in 2009 in its The Lost and Damned expansion. So the idea that GTA 6 might show some skin is not new at all which may be exactly why the claim is spreading so easily. All it takes is for a claim to sound true for people to stop checking whether the evidence behind it is real.

This looks like apparent dev-build footage being used to drive attention, all the while tying straight back to a crypto pump with Take-Two Interactive chasing the leaker with subpoenas across Microsoft, Discord, X and Google. The nudity looks like the hook. The coin may be the real goal. Both the fans shouting "confirmed" and the ones shouting "fake" are doing the leaker's work for free, arguing over a clip nobody should treat as the finished game.

What we're trying to say here is that GTA 6 will almost certainly deal in adult sexual content. The ratings already confirmed this way before the leaks. Whether it lets you stroll through Vice City with nothing on is a different story entirely and the footage claiming to prove it comes from a build you should not mistake for the real thing.

The only version that settles the question arrives when GTA 6 reaches players on November 19. Until then, treat every CyberLeek "reveal" with that crypto tie-in in mind, not as confirmation of anything.
