Cayo Perico Heist: Secondary Targets Guide

Secondary targets fill the rest of your loot bag after you secure the Cayo Perico Heist primary target. This guide maps every place they can appear during the Gather Intel phase. For current values and bag space, use our Cayo Perico Payouts Guide.

Secondary targets include art, gold, cash and contraband, and you should photograph useful finds while scouting.¹ In the live heist, cash, weed and cocaine can appear outside the compound; cash, gold and paintings can appear inside it. The possible locations are fixed, but the loot at each location changes from one run to the next. GTA BOOM verified the locations below in-game.

You can inspect compound loot through the CCTV feed, while island loot is scoped by photographing it in person. Rockstar recommends checking warehouses and photographing anything useful during reconnaissance.² Solo players only need enough reachable loot to fill one bag, while a larger crew benefits from scouting more options.

Secondary Targets — CCTV (Inside Compound)

Use the CCTV cameras to check these possible compound loot positions.

Basement

The glass case in the basement contains the primary target, not a secondary target. It is shown here so you do not mistake it for one of the compound's secondary-loot positions.

Basement Storage

There are two cash/gold tables and two painting slots in the basement storage.

Office (Cam 1 & 2)

There are two cameras in the Office, and you can find one painting slot in each camera. This means that there are two painting slots in the office.

West Storage (Cam 1 & 2)

There are two cameras inside the West Storage. You can see one cash/gold table and a painting slot through cam 1 and another cash/gold table through cam 2. You will have two cash/gold tables and one painting slot in the West Storage.

North Storage (Cam 1 & 2)

Like the West Storage, the North Storage will also have two cash/gold tables and one painting slot. You can see one cash/gold table and a painting slot through cam 1 and another cash/gold table through cam 2.

South Storage (Cam 1 & 2)

There are two cameras installed in the South Storage room with three secondary target slots. Cam 1 shows one cash/gold table, while cam 2 shows a cash/gold table and a painting slot. You need to pan all the way to the right to see the second cash/gold table.

Secondary Targets — The Island (Outside Compound)

The island positions can contain cash, weed or cocaine. Gold and paintings do not spawn at these outside-compound locations.

Photograph each table separately during Gather Intel so every target registers on the planning screen. If two tables appear in one photo and only one registers, take a second photo focused on the other table.

Secondary Targets 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Airstrip Warehouse)

These secondary targets are inside the warehouse at the airstrip.

There are two more in the warehouse, which you can access either by climbing up the ladders located at the far right side of the warehouse or by using the forklift to get to the elevated surface to your right.
