GTAForums leaker Graczdari_91, who correctly called the Best Buy pre order date wrong, now claims Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 3 drops Tuesday, May 26, 2026. A Rockstar Newswire announcement by May 22 is the key signal to watch.
The last time Graczdari_91 posted on GTAForums about Grand Theft Auto 6, he told the community that the Best Buy pre-order date was wrong. He was right. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed it on yesterday's earnings call, telling analysts that Take-Two had "absolutely no idea" how it all happened.
Now the same source is saying that GTA 6 Trailer 3 will drop on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, with a formal announcement possibly coming as early as tomorrow (May 22).
Graczdari_91's post, which appeared on GTAForums within hours of the earnings call ending, states that his sources at a European distribution company indicate Trailer 3 is locked for May 26.

Of course, debunking a retailer error (which required knowing what distributors were told) is a fundamentally different kind of information than knowing when Rockstar Games will drop a trailer (which requires access to Rockstar's communications planning, not a distributor's logistics pipeline).
Sure, Graczdari_91 appears to have a verified source at a European distribution company. Distributors receive advance notice of product shipments, retail preparation timelines, and marketing material distribution dates. However, they do not typically receive advance notice of digital trailer drops.
If the claim is accurate, it means either the distribution network received word to prepare marketing materials for a May 26 trailer, or Graczdari_91 has sources beyond the distribution chain that extend into Rockstar's marketing apparatus.
It's also entirely plausible that he's just doing this for the clout after getting the previous leak correct and just wants to keep the ball rolling, or so to speak.
We need to remember that Zelnick said on the earnings call that marketing begins this summer and will be "very significant." He filed $8 billion in FY2027 guidance that requires GTA 6 to ship on November 19. He explicitly said the campaign will not resemble Grand Theft Auto V's approach and will instead "reflect where audiences and attention is today."
Dropping Trailer 3 five days after the earnings call, with no traditional media build-up, no press event, no countdown, would be exactly the kind of modern, attention-native marketing strategy Zelnick described.
Rockstar has done this before. Trailer 1's announcement came with minimal advance notice. When the trailer itself leaked early on December 4, 2023, Rockstar released it immediately rather than waiting for the scheduled time. The studio has demonstrated a willingness to move fast when the moment demands it. A Tuesday morning trailer drop with a one-day announcement window wouldn't exactly come out of left field.
So what we're saying here is that the claim holds weight until proven otherwise. The source's one previous call was correct. The timing aligns with Zelnick's language on the earnings call about summer marketing. Tuesday drops are consistent with Rockstar's historical pattern, and there's still at least one event worth keeping an eye on next week.
If the announcement comes tomorrow (May 22), we will know within hours. If it does not, the May 26 date becomes significantly less credible because Rockstar has never released a major trailer without at least 24 to 48 hours' advance notice. The announcement is the test. If tomorrow passes without a Rockstar Newswire post, the Tuesday date is likely wrong.
Besides, Zelnick never said that the next GTA 6 trailer will be part of the game's marketing.
If Trailer 3 drops Tuesday, Graczdari_91 becomes the most credible community source in GTA 6 history. If it does not, he becomes the latest in a long line of one-hit wonders who got one thing right and then overextended.
Tomorrow tells us which.
