FG_Artist's approach is the complete opposite of nearly every GTA 6 trailer 2 recreation so far. Every single frame was hand-animated using physical LEGO models and real bricks. Although the artist admits to using procedural generation techniques for certain backgrounds, a lot of planning still went to every tiny movement, with execution close to perfection for the transition from one scene to another to feel as natural as it does in the resulting product.
While artificial intelligence can certainly produce impressive results quickly, there's something deeply satisfying about seeing what human dedication and skill can accomplish.
Between this LEGO recreation of GTA 6 trailer 2 and their detailed remake of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer that garnered millions of views, it's clear that FG_Artist will be going places in the future.
Unfortunately, despite the potential of a LEGO game set in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, as evidenced by this trailer recreation, it's highly unlikely that LEGO nor Rockstar Games will allow for this to happen.
With that said, we can at least hope for this LEGO remake of GTA 6 trailer 2 to inspire modders to create a mod that allows fans to enjoy GTA with this particular art style.
Following its earlier delay, GTA 6 is now set to come out on May 26, 2026, in a move that's believed to have tremendous financial impact on the video game industry.
