As shown in the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, the VCPD plays an important role in the game, responding to criminal activity and interacting with the protagonists. Its structure and operations are largely modeled on the real-world Miami Police Department¹, reflecting the series' satirical portrayal of Florida. The department serves a major urban area with demographics similar to those of Miami.

Branding and Design

Based on initial footage, the VCPD utilizes a traditional police branding scheme. Their primary vehicle livery is a white and blue design, which is a common color combination for law enforcement vehicles. At least one vehicle variant has been observed with a more modern, retro-reflective "ghost" livery. Further details on officer uniforms, precinct architecture, and the department's official logo have not yet been fully revealed.
