Vice-Dale County is the presumed jurisdiction behind the Vice-Dale Police Department name seen in Grand Theft Auto VI. GTA VI is set in Leonida, with Vice City as its central urban setting, but Rockstar has not separately named or mapped a county called Vice-Dale.1

Confirmed setting

Trailer 1 shows a marked police vehicle bearing the Vice-Dale Police Department name.2 The marking establishes the agency name, but it does not confirm county boundaries or place Vice City, Vice Beach or Hamlet within that jurisdiction.

Locations

Vice City, Vice Beach and Hamlet are separate Leonida subjects, but current official material does not place them inside Vice-Dale County. Kelly County and Leonard County are separate named counties in the state.

Law enforcement

The Vice-Dale Police Department is the only named institution currently tied to Vice-Dale. Its marked vehicle appears in Trailer 1.

Real-world comparison

The Vice-Dale name echoes Miami-Dade County, the South Florida county that includes Miami.
