Vice Beach refers to a location in, or near, Vice City that has appeared in the 2D Universe and 3D Universe games of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. It's set to appear in the HD Universe for the first time with the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, which will be set in a modern-day iteration of Vice City.

Description

In Grand Theft Auto, Vice Beach is a neighborhood in Vice City. It features a police station, a military base and a walkway on the shore

In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Vice Beach, also known as Vice City Beach, refers to one of the main islands comprising the game map, which can be accessed via bridge after the area is unlocked by progressing through the story in Vice City Stories. In Vice City, players can initially access this part of the map.

In Grand Theft Auto 6, Vice Beach will be a distinct coastal resort city, though part of the Vice City metropolitan area. This incarnation of Vice Beach first appeared in the initial trailer for GTA VI, indicating that it will be the largest playable beach location in the franchise upon release.

In all three iterations, Vice Beach takes heavy inspiration from the real-life location, Miami Beach, a popular tourist attraction and a local hotspot in Florida.
