Hotel Neptune

Hotel Neptune is a confirmed hotel and landmark appearing in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is located in the Vice Beach area of Vice-Dale County, Leonida. The hotel was first revealed in the first official trailer for the game, establishing it as one of the many businesses in the revived Vice City.

Description

Hotel Neptune is one of at least four hotels situated along the vibrant beachfront of Vice Beach. Based on its appearance in the initial trailer, it is a multi-story building with classic art deco architecture, fitting the aesthetic of the Vice City beachfront. Its name is partially visible in a wide shot of the area, located just to the left of the Hotel Boardwalk.

Development and Influence

The design of Hotel Neptune appears to be directly inspired by a real-world location in Miami Beach, Florida. Specifically, its architecture and placement are based on the former Shore Park Hotel1, located at 820 Ocean Drive. This continues Rockstar Games' tradition of creating fictional counterparts to real-life landmarks for its game worlds.

Geography and Environment

The hotel is situated in the urban, high-traffic area of Vice Beach. It is part of a dense row of hotels and other commercial buildings facing the ocean, suggesting it is on a major coastal road. The surrounding environment is characterized by a sandy beach, palm trees, and a bustling city atmosphere.
