The Shooting Animals Photography Challenge is a daily collectible activity in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced with the Chop Shop update. This challenge is available exclusively on next-gen consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S) and the PC enhanced edition of the game.

How to Participate

When you log into GTA Online, you will receive a notification on your phone to visit the LS Tourist Board at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness while you are in free roam. This can be in either an invite-only or a public session.

When you interact with the board, you will receive a list of three animals that you need to photograph and send to the LS Tourist Board. You can take pictures of the animals using your in-game phone camera.

You get a random list of three animals with every server reset, and you cannot choose which animals you get. You can also receive the list directly on your phone from the LS Tourist Board when you are in a free roam session.

The list of animals you need to photograph is randomly generated with each server reset and you can't choose which animals appear. While you might occasionally receive the list directly on your phone from the LS Tourist Board while in a Free Roam session, interacting with the Tourist Board is the guaranteed method to receive your daily animal photography assignments.

Photo Criteria

When photographing an animal, certain criteria must be met for the photo to be eligible for submission to the LS Tourist Board. When taking a picture, ensure the animal is centered within the camera's grid and that no other objects obstruct the view.
