Peyote Plants — GTA Online Locations

Have you ever wanted to play GTA Online as either a Dog or a Cat? A Shark or a Dolphin? How about as Franklin's Chop or the infamous mythical creature Bigfoot? If not, then you're in luck as Peyote Plants have been added to GTA Online, whereas previously they were only available in the story mode.

There are 76 Peyote Plants located throughout the GTA Online map as opposed to the 27 peyote plants which exist in story mode (plus 7 extra Golden Peyote Plants which spawn after collecting those). The number 76 might be overwhelming but don't worry as this guide will help you with every single location!

Collecting Peyote Plants online grants players with stupendous amount of RP. Each plant rewards you with 5,000 RP so once you've collected all 76 of them you will walk away with a whopping 380,000 RP! While this might not be super exciting for the experienced players, it sure is a treat for low-level players.

The plants are located on land and underwater. Upon eating a plant you'll turn into an animal that relates somehow to the plant's location. If you eat a plant located on land then you can expect to change into either a terrestrial animal or a bird. If you eat a peyote plant located underwater then you can expect to turn into a sea creature.

What you'll specifically turn into though (ie shark or dolphin) after consuming a Peyote is completely random for each and every player online.

Note that two of the creatures that you can turn into are special. Franklin's dog Chop and a Bigfoot are possible transformations, you just need to follow certain requirements which are of course set out in our guide below.

Peyote Plant #1 – Land

The plant is sitting at the base of the tree.

Peyote Plant #2 – Underwater

The plant is right by a couple of medium sized rocks.

Peyote Plant #3 – Underwater

It is located right next to a huge boulder/rock beside the wreckage.

Peyote Plant #4 – Underwater

It is a bit difficult to make out the exact location of the plant here visually but if you swim around in this particular area in between the rocks and the weed, you will get a pop up to eat the plant.

Peyote Plant #5 – Underwater

When you dive at the location, you will notice two vertically standing wooden pillars. There is a huge boulder beside these; the plant is right next to the boulder.

It is located right next to a bush and a couple of huge boulders.

Peyote Plant #7 – Underwater

This plant is located in between two huge boulders/mini mountains right next to an underwater dense weed patch.

The plant is on this mini island in between two huge boulders.

Peyote Plant #9 – Land

The plant is located in a flowerpot on the front door of the house.

Peyote Plant #10 – Underwater

A couple of boulders at the location you dive in surrounds the plant.

Peyote Plant #11 – Land

The plant is located on the front door of a house inside of a flowerpot right next to another white flowerpot.

Peyote Plant #12 – Chop The Dog

This is located in the backyard of Franklin's old house. It makes sense since this turns you into Chop, Franklin's dog in story mode.

It is located on a grass patch surrounded by a couple of bushes.

Peyote Plant #14 – Underwater

This one is also a bit difficult to detect visually, but you will see a little glowing object, which is the plant in this particular dense weed area.

The plant is located on the side porch having some dry grass surrounded by plants and bushes.

Peyote Plant #16 – Underwater

This plant is located right next to a huge boulder, which you will see as soon as you dive at the marked location. It is right beside the wooden structure.

It is next to a boulder/mini mountain underwater when you dive at the marked location.

Peyote Plant #18 – Land

This plant is located in the balcony of house number 1357 located by the beach.

Peyote Plant #19 – Land

It is located in the small garden patch by the swimming pool at the Elgin House in Del Perro.

The plant is located inside of a flowerpot in the backyard of a house marked in the map.

Peyote Plant #21 – Land

It is located inside of a flowerpot right next to a wooden double door entrance.

It is located on the side of the walkway right next to a boulder and a rock with a couple of grass patches.

The plant is located right in the middle of an alleyway inside of a flowerpot right next to a manhole.

This plant is located at the base of an old tree located right next to a football field.

The plant is located right on the side of the road on a grassy patch next to a support pillar.

It is located underneath an interchange/bridge next to a red colored container.

Peyote Plant #27 – Land

The plant is located on a mini island right next to a dense patch of bushes.

Peyote Plant #28 – Land

This plant is located in the middle of a dried up river next to a couple of dry bushes.

This one is located next to a huge boulder and a couple of small rocks.

Peyote Plant #30 – Underwater

This is located right next to a huge cargo ship wreckage where half opening of the structure is. There is a boulder located next to it, where the plant is just sitting in a bit of weed.

This one is located right underneath a rock bridge. There is water located underneath where you dive to get to the plant.

Peyote Plant #32 – Land

This plant is located in front of an oil container. A bunch of bushes surrounds the peyote plant.

The plant is located out in the open right beside a mountain and close to a water body.

Peyote Plant #34 – Land

This plant is located inside of a flowerpot in the back porch of a house located in Downtown Vinewood.

Peyote Plant #35 – Land

The plant is located in the backyard of a house by a mini umbrella in a small grass patch in Vinewood Hills.

Peyote Plant #36 – Land

The plant is located in a little back garden of a house located in Vinewood Hills.

This plant is located in backyard of a house located in Richman. There is a mini garden by the swimming pool where the plant is located.

Peyote Plant #38 – Underwater

This plant is located next to a medium sized mountain underwater when you dive at the marked location.

Peyote Plant #39 – Underwater

This plant is located exactly where it is marked on the map. You simply need to dive directly down and it is sitting at the bottom out in the open therefore it is easier to find.

The plant is located in the backyard of a house located in Banham Canyon. It is inside of a flowerpot sitting by a table.

This plant is located inside of a flowerpot inside of a garage of a house in Banham Canyon

Located right in the middle of a semi-dried river in Great Chaparral.

This one is located on top of a cliff/mini mountain in Vinewood Hills overlooking the stadium across the road.

Peyote Plant #44 – Land

It is located in the backyard of an old house in Grand Senora Desert. The plant is surrounded by bushes and a bunch of old tires.

The plant is located at Ron Alternates Wind Farm surrounded by some bushes and trees.

When you dive directly underneath you will see the plant sitting at the base of the huge boulder.

Peyote Plant #47 – Land

The plant is located at the end of a dirt road in a quarry located in Davis Quartz. The plant is sitting beside a rock and a lamppost.

This plant is located next to a huge pink colored coral.

Peyote Plant #49 – Underwater

As you dive at the marked location, you will see huge boulders. The plant is sitting on top of one of the huge boulders.

This plant is located at the edge of a dirt area overlooking the sea at Grapeseed. There are some bushes beside the plant as well.

The plant is located beside a couple of rocks and boulders at the base of the Alamo Sea.

Peyote Plant #52 – Land

The plant is located inside of a flowerpot, which is sitting at the front porch of a blue house located in Sandy Shores. The flowerpot is in between some small rocks and bushes.

Peyote Plant #53 – Land

This plant is located at the back of an old 'trailer' like house in between 3 dense bushes next to an old torn up couch.

Peyote Plant #54 – Land

This plant is located next to an abandoned mineshaft located in the Grand Senora Desert near the runway.

Peyote Plant #55 – Land

The plant is located right at the entrance of an old house located in Grand Senora Desert. The plant is inside of a flowerpot.

This plant is located out in the open around Zancudo River area.

Peyote Plant #57 – Underwater

This plant is located not that far underneath as the depth of this water body is not that much. You can even see it without diving in. The plant is located beside a huge boulder.

The plant is located on chiliad mountain state wilderness surrounded by some dry bushes.

Peyote Plant #59 – Land

The plant is located on top of Mount Josiah.

Peyote Plant #60 – Land

The plant is located inside of swamp water in Lago Zancudo.

Peyote Plant #61 – Underwater

The plant is located near a sunken boat.

Peyote Plant #62 – Land

It is present at the mini beach at Lago Zancudo. It is easily visible as there are no other obstacles such as rocks and bushes.

The plant is located right beside a small rock/boulder.

Peyote Plant #64 – Land

The plant is available is present near the bridge at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

This plant is located right beside a vertical standing pink colored coral.

Peyote Plant #66 – Land

This plant is at the edge of the beach overlooking the ocean at Paleto Forest.

Peyote Plant #67 – Land

The plant is located right beside a cactus and a table in a flowerpot. This is at a restaurant at Paleto bay.

Peyote Plant #68 – Land

This plant is located at the base of a huge tree by the train track near the farm at Mount Chiliad.

Peyote Plant #69 – Underwater

This plant is located at the base of the sea. The plant is easily visible as it is not in the weed but rather an open small area.

Peyote Plant #70 – Underwater

This one is also sitting right there by the weed but in an open area so it is easily visible as soon as you dive in.

Peyote Plant #71 – Land

The plant is located in between two big boulders and a tree at Mount Gordo viewpoint. You also have a couple of benches there.

Peyote Plant #72 – Underwater

The plant is easily visible when you dive in and swim at the bottom of the marked location.

Peyote Plant #73 – Land

This one is located at a small pond around Mount Gordo.

Peyote Plant #74 – Land

The plant is located at the base of an old tree overlooking the main highway at Mount Gordo. You also have a railway track right in front of the tree.

Peyote Plant #75 – Land

The plant is located on top of Mount Chiliad where the cable car station is. There are some wooden signboards, and the plant is right next to the signs.

Peyote Plant #76 – Bigfoot

The last plant is located on top of a cliff at Grapeseed overlooking the farm.

This last location #76 holds a significance because at this location you can also become Sasquatch a.k.a Bigfoot. However, in order to do so, you need to meet certain requirements. The requirements are:

• You need to eat the plant between 3:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. It is recommended to eat the plant around 5:00 A.M.
• The weather should be Foggy.

The Bigfoot has limited actions (like all other animals) however there are certain special abilities which separate it from all the other animals:

• You run faster as Bigfoot.
• You have super strength.
• You are able to pick up and use weapons.

F.A.Q.

• Will I be able to enter the apartments or houses?

• No, you won't be able to do that.

• Is it possible to eat the plants again?

• Yes, the plants respawn after 24 hours in game time, or you can also re-login.

• Are the animals we become fixed?

• No, they are completely random for every player online. The only animals/creatures that are fixed are Chop The Dog and Sasquatch/Bigfoot.
