Benefactor is a fictional vehicle manufacturer in the Grand Theft Auto series. Its range covers luxury cars, sports cars, SUVs and specialized vehicles, and the brand appears from Grand Theft Auto IV through Grand Theft Auto VI.
Brand identity
Benefactor's closest overall real-world brand comparison is Mercedes-Benz. The German manufacturer produces premium passenger cars and vans and traces the Mercedes-Benz name to the 1926 merger of Daimler and Benz.1 Individual Benefactor models combine cues from several real vehicles, and Rockstar has not identified Mercedes-Benz as an official basis for the whole fictional company.
Vehicle range
The Benefactor lineup includes Sports, Super, Sports Classic, Sedan, Coupe and SUV models. Its vehicles vary substantially in speed, handling and purpose, so performance should be assessed model by model rather than treated as a single brand characteristic.
Notable models include the Feltzer, Schafter, Schlagen GT, Stirling GT, XLS and SM722. The Benefactor Terrorbyte is an armored command truck used to manage businesses and launch Client Jobs in GTA Online.
GTA Online
Benefactor vehicles appear across GTA Online dealerships and rotating showroom inventories. The Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom and LS Car Meet have both featured Benefactor models, while weekly events sometimes apply temporary discounts to selected vehicles.
The Benefactor bonuses event featured discounts on models including the LM87, Schlagen GT, SM722, Stirling GT, Feltzer, Schafter V12 and XLS. Those offers were time-limited and are not permanent acquisition rules.
GTA VI
Benefactor branding and vehicles appear in GTA VI promotional material.
