Despite its age, Grand Theft Auto V still ranks rank high on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 PlayStation Store charts.

Grand Theft Auto V is rumored to be leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium libraries as soon as next month. While Sony hasn't made any official announcements regarding GTA V's departure, u/kayrakaanonline on Reddit has noted the pattern in Rockstar Games' relationship with subscription services. Historically, Rockstar has limited the availability of its titles on platforms like PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass to a maximum of six months.

With_GTA 5_hitting that sixth month in its latest return to PS Plus in May, following its latest stint on the three-tiered subscription service, its time on the service may be coming to an end. While this information should be taken with a grain of salt, the track record of both the Reddit user and Rockstar lends credibility to the claim.

This is a wake-up call for PlayStation Plus subscribers who haven't visited Los Santos yet.GTA 5_might be more well-known today forGrand Theft Auto Online_but the immersive single-player campaign remains top-notch. Completing it can take anywhere from 30 to 50 hours, or as long as 100 hours, depending on how much side content you delve into.

Although that's probably not counting the hours that you're most likely going to spend just driving around the fictional and often-lawless city, trying to pretend like you're a law-abiding citizen, which is the exact opposite of what this 19-year-old recently did. That said, arguably_GTA Online_is where most of the fun is it.

The massive, ever-expanding standalone experience is filled with countless activities, missions, and opportunities for mayhem. It can easily consume hundreds of hours of playtime. However, with potentially only a month left, you might find it challenging to fully immerse yourself in this online criminal paradise. Fortunately, the PlayStation Spring Sale is still ongoing through April 23.

Of course, while Rockstar has consistently adhered to the six-month rule for its titles on subscription services, exceptions can and will always happen. The close relationship between Rockstar and PlayStation could lead to an extended stay for_GTA V_, especially with the rumored upcoming marketing collaboration between the two companies as Take-Two Interactive starts its marketing efforts for_Grand Theft Auto 6_.

In other news, just as_GTA V_is set to leave PlayStation Plus, it's also coming to the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on April 15.
