San Andreas Mercenaries has two main ways to earn money: six Project Overthrow missions and three LSA Operations. Both are part of the San Andreas Mercenaries update for GTA Online. Rockstar confirms the mission counts and that both sets are launched through the Avenger's Operations Terminal.1
Rockstar does not publish every current base payout, so we keep the figures below up to date using checks against the game. Temporary weekly bonuses are not included unless stated.
Project Overthrow Payouts
Project Overthrow is the update's six-mission storyline. The amount changes with the selected difficulty.

LSA Operations Payouts
LSA Operations are three freemode contracts, similar to Security Contracts. Each operation rotates optional bonus objectives that add to the payout, and the first completion of each type unlocks an outfit.1

Notes on LSA Operations Payouts:
Our in-game checks found the following:
- There is a 20-minute cooldown after completing an LSA Operation before another can be started.
- Associates in the host's organization receive GTA$30,000 for completing an operation, regardless of its difficulty. All participating players who meet the optional objective receive the GTA$15,000 bonus.
- Completing each LSA Operation type for the first time unlocks an outfit:

- Surgical Strike: Merryweather Outfit
- Whistleblower: The Shade Outfit
